Perfect Match for Guide in Equalizer Ruleset

Hello everyone, welcome back to Ramadhanight's Hive Blog on Splinterlands Weekly Battle Mage Secrets Challenge's Session. For this week Battle Challenge, there is equalizer ruleset which makes all monsters started with the same health point. Let's see the tips and battle example.

Battle of The Week

Here is my formation for the battle :

Rules set:

Before we discuss about the formation, here is the rules for this match
Equalizer : All unit start with the same health, based on the highest health on either team.
Lost Magic : Magic monsters are unavailable. Time for physical fight !
21 mana cap: medium mana cap, tight battle strategy!
Splinter available : Only fire, earth, and dragon splinters are available.

My Lineup's Explanation :

Summonersimage.png-2 Armor DebuffFor this equal health with no magic, armor play important part to stand against physical damage. An armor remover is really important to make sure my team attack could directly hit enemies health point
Tankerimage.pngHealFlesh golem is my tanker because he got solid attack and regen abilty which is very usefull on this ruleset. He also got high hp to help rest on the team having high hp, because tried to spam many little mana monster to get that benefit.
2nd Monsterimage.pngOpportunityVenari scout is my 2nd monster. With opportunity ability, he could help to hit enemies from behind. He also cost just 3 mana, so i could get more monsters
3rd Monsterimage.pngOpportunity, FlyScreeching vulture is having same stats and ability with venari scout, but having extra fly ability to dodge physical attack. Very usefull to give damage from behind.
4th Monsterimage.png-First range monster. With just 2 mana cost, could help giving 1 damage from behind and tank some damage in case the first 3 monsters got eliminated or tank from snipe enemies as well.
5th Monsterimage.png-Another archer, but this one is having 2 damage instead. Really usefull to help giving 2 damage to enemies from behind with just 3 mana cost.
6th Monsterimage.pngthornLast monster to prevent enemies sneak monsters. With thorn ability, he could hurt enemies back if they use melee attack.

I would also talk a little about my enemies lane up, but won't too detailed as my lane up, just my point of view in general about his lane up.

On the other side, my enemies put just 3 monster there with summoners that have no used. One things that is great is the shield ability at the tank to reduce all physical damage by 1 point. He also got the venari scout to help giving damage and snipe with high damage. But with low mana cap and equal ruselet, i personally think put less monster with high damage is not effective because you can't reap the benefit of the equalizer.

Does My Strategy is Worked ? :

On first round, all monsters are giving their damage. My monster is focus on the first monster even there is opportunity because there is no monster on the back with lower hp than the front. My enemies on the other side had split damage because he got snipe monster. No one is eliminated this round, still 6 vs 3 for me.

On 2nd round, my team finally able to beat the tank with that shield ability. This makes my team had great advantage because enemy main hitter with snipe now up front and can't attack. It's 6 vs 2 for my team at the end of 2nd round.

It not need much time to eliminate enemies archer, but my first archer got eliminated first by enemy venari. 5 vs 1 for me at the end of third round

It is obvious my team win this match, it's all ended at the end of fourth round.

Discuss About Equalizer :

What Should We Get :

Monster with heal, tank heal, or triage could be very usefull if there is any monster with high health point on the battlefield. Get monster or summoner with blast like yodin zaku is very usefull to hurt more monster, because on this ruleset, it's all about giving higher damage to eliminate enemies faster because everyone got same health. Focussing your damage is very usefull, because if you split them, you might never eliminate anyone on the battlefield. Get as many monster as you can, because they all will having same health. Become a decoy, tanker, or giving low damage, ,and they will have high health point to waste enemies attack.
What Should We Avoid:
Use high utility monster but cost high mana and not having enough mana to fulfill the squad is what you should avoid. And don't ever splitting damage because it will waste you the match like i've said before.
What would i do next ?
Put low maa monster with shield or void ability will be very interesting as effective low mana tanker with equal health.

Conclussion

On equal health ruleset, try to get as much monster as you can to reap the benefit of the equal health, so you can waste your enemies attack. Focusing your attack is very usefull to eliminate enemies as fast as you can. Get monster with heal, tank heal, or triage will be usefull on battle with high health point.
