I found out today that the younger brother of one of my female acquaintance in high school is now into Internet fraud, we Nigerians call internet fraud yahoo yahoo over here and over here internet fraud is a big punishable crime…
I am still dumbfounded at this story honestly, I can’t believe what I heard today and I am not only judging this story based on what I just heard today, I actually got suspicious days ago when he messaged me on WhatsApp and I could see a foreign woman’s picture as his WhatsApp profile picture, I didn’t take his chats seriously when I realized he was a friend’s younger brother…
I decided to leave the issue till another day when I see him one on one offline, and today I was hinted by a mutual friend about what he is into now and how he has been doing it for quite a while…
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing because it is just so so crazy and annoying, What could have lead a child of at most 14-15 years into internet fraud…
This young boy is still in high school, I think SS1 to be precise, he is still been fed by his parents, his school bills are still being paid by his parents, feeding allowance are given to him daily, and he literally has nothing to worry about than to go to school and study hard to become someone great in the near future…
I was surprised to find out he is into such criminal act at this very young age, he is too young for this type of a thing, internet fraud is a very serious crime in Nigeria, I won’t believe it if I was told my someone else but I was able to believe it immediately I was told today because I have heard my suspicions about it for quite a while but I wasn’t paying much attention to it because i didn’t want to drag the issue…
I am still in doubt of what could have lead such a young boy at that age into such criminal act, I can’t believe his parents or siblings don’t know about it because he is still under their roof, how would a young boy be bombing every night under his parents roof and his parents don’t know about it…
What does he need that his parents or elder sister can’t provide for him, I know his elder sister quite well and I am still very surprised he is into such criminal act, I am pissed and worried at the same time, I can’t believe what I am hearing about this boy…
He was literally caught red handed by a friend days ago and I was hinted today about it, I believe my audience would have one or two things to share on this matter…
My question is why is such a young boy in possession of a mobile phone at that age, what does he need it for, who is he chatting with at that age, he is still in high school and too young to be given a phone, I don’t even know who to blame for his act..
I would be entertaining any sort of contribution in my comment section because I don’t even know what to say about this matter on ground, what could have gone wrong, what could have lead him into such act, where did everything start to go wrong and what could be done about it??…
I want you all to talk to me as a parent, sister and brother, what do you think is happening to us and how can this be curbed, this things shouldn’t be left to go on like this because the future of our kids is at stake…

It is ok to that range of age to have because we are in tech era, but of course its need to have a limitations in using it. Here in our country, poverty is the main reason to the people who made crimes
Hmmmmmm over here handing a phone to such age is a big distraction, we are in the tech era doesn’t mean anything over here lol, no matter the reason, he is just too young to do such, at the age of 14, what happens when he get to 18 oh my, thanks for your share my dear, you are spotted on
