THE RETURN OF NOKIA 3310…

I don’t think i have ever shared this with anyone on hive before now, this would be my first time talking about my first ever phone. Whenever I remember my first phone and how i came to own it, i just can’t help but feel grateful and thankful for the hands that made it possible, the truth is that i never believed i could even have a mobile phone at that age, and that was because i was still a newbie in high school and its a norm for every child of my family to be allocated a mobile phone after graduating college, it started out with my elderly ones but for my case it was different, and that was because i was fortunate…

My very first phone was never a smart phone, it was not a smart phone because this particular phone was filled with many limitations, I could call, send text message, use the web, use Facebook and several other main functions every other phones could do, the only issue about the phone is the limited function it has…

My first phone was the return of a used phone in the 19th century, which means my first phone was an advanced version of a phone that was invented many years ago, the only difference was the little update and modification, it was rebranded with a beautiful casing, which made it look more attractive and less ancient…

It’s high time i cut to the chase, enough of the suspense and excitement, my first phone was a button phone and it is non other than the 2nd version of the NOKIA 3310, i call it the return of ancient times…

I was just in the first year of high school when my class teacher that year gifted me the phone after purchasing a second hand android phone, before that day he had mentioned it to my hearing that he would be getting a new phone soon, which means he would have to either dash out his currently used phone or sell it out, and as someone who is quite close to him I decided to ask him for it, which he said yes to it…

I had completely forgotten about it until weeks after when he asked me to visit him at his house. I got there and the phone was handed to me on a platter of gold, i was surprised at first but then i was very happy because i had finally gotten a phone of mine, Which means more time to spend on Facebook chatting with my friends…

Honestly, the joy and excitement I felt that day was one like no other, i was happy to finally own a phone, i got home and showed my mum, she called my teacher and thanked him immediately, I was so happy that i had to borrow my mum’s second simcard to make use of it that night, the feeling was just amazing and special…

In summary, i was happy for many reasons, all of which included the fact that i was the first person to use a phone while still in high school and I didn’t spend a dime to get it, this fact made me more happy and extremely grateful…

In conclusion, even with the fact that the mobile phone he gave me was a used phone, i was less concerned and more interested in what it could do, i was very happy and grateful, it was a fine button phone which could browse and do many other tasks, it was quite nice and useful and I loved it…

Wow I never knew Nokia 3310 was reinvented and upgraded to have access to internet like Facebook and co.

You must be so lucky to get that from your teacher.
