I am musician since I am 9 years old. On stage & concert since I am 11? 12? DJing since the age of 15. But one thing, will NEVER change...
Monday:
"I am the DJ in town. Visit the event!"Tuesday:
"Yes, I make music. Not worth to mention..."Wednesday:
"Damn, I am the worst DJ in the country... I could mess it up..."Thursday:
"What can I play? I am nervous 400% + the worst DJ ever! I will mess it up!"Friday:
"I should just say I am ill & broke my arm..."+ Stopping telling anybody that I play tomorrow & regretting I called all friends and contacts.
Saturday morning:
"I am going to mess everything up. That was the last time at this location..."Saturday noon:
Thinking about how to brake my arm for real and fast during loading the equipment into the car.Saturday night:
Executing survival mode: 'Drink, play, survive.'+ Giving alcohol to listeners to sound better & saying "I started DJing a little time ago..."
Sunday:
Location manager writes "Thank you again! When do you play here next time?"+ Welcome new fans into the WA group.
Written on Friday night with the sure meaning "I kind of hate my life... Why do I do shit like this?*"Whhhhhyyyyy???

Glad I did a session today in the morning... this brought me away from suffering... Let's see how it goes... (The coffee yesterday kicked so hard... I just "chilled" 2.5 hours... This can be a night... My legs will be dead after today, after all this jumping... but:)

sry not laughing at you, but it is 1) funny how you've written it and 2) something very similar to my DJ friends, even when they gig thousands of times already and 3) something I can relate to myself, though not in music gigging space, but in preso type of space in the office business segment of things.

P.S. Oh, Techno? Hard to find here. Maybe some international artist is playing here, then he can fill a location. Otherwise Latin House is hard enough to present & find. House in general? Difficult. With "Latin" you can catch people here, yes, but everything else is really hard - seen from my experience. The culture is really different here. There are some clubs & discos in Asuncion, but on regular basis you will find Cumbia stuff there. And if it should be a little more Tech or western Styles, it may be a special Event... But no location can build his regular line on Techno or other western style. All in all: Techno in Paraguay will be rare & hard to find. If you see different, please tell me!
Owww, a friend played back in 2016 in Asunción, a place called Sequence. I guess I need to join him when he gets back to Paraguay 🙃 Not sure of if, and when. Hopefully any time soon! 🎶
