FRONT MISSION 3 (PS1)

Front Mission 3 is a turn-based tactical role-playing game for the PlayStation, created by Square and released in Japan in September 1999. The game is based in the near future of the real world, close to 2112.

❗️ synopsis ❗️

In 2112, Kazuki is a Wanzer test pilot, and works for Kirishima Heavy Industries. He and his friend, Ryogo Kusama, are caught up in a nationwide conspiracy involving a massive explosion that occurs during their visit to the Yokosuka military base.

Front mission 3 is one of my favorites on the PS1 when it comes to turn-based strategy games, and a company called "squaresoft" that made final fantasy can't disappoint us, right? Your objective is to control giant robots from within, defeating others Giant robots with an infinite number of possible weapons include a machine gun, shotgun, bazooka, wristband, axe, missile launcher, there is something for all tastes for those who want to attack from near or far, the strategy and battle scene is always seen from above with rotating cameras. several positions so that you can see the entire game map and when attacking someone you go to a cut-cine where it is shown where you hit the opposing robot as shown in the gif below with a missile launcher

One of the things I like most about this game is each part of the robot has its own HP, that is, to definitively defeat you, I destroyed the body, but when you damage the robot's arm, resetting its HP, that arm is disabled and if that arm is equipped with a weapon you won't be able to use it, but you can still use your other arm to attack with another weapon, by breaking the legs the opponent won't be able to walk, anyway, as you can see, it's not just a common strategy game, it has fantastic mechanics and is much deeper where It's not just about attacking and that's it, you can take down both arms and your opponent will no longer be able to attack, but they can move around the map and this game was the first game I played that opened my mind in relation to the probabilities of completely new strategies that I never had previously seen or played

The graphics are very good for the time, look, you're playing on a PS1 and look at the quality of the robots, the scenery might not appeal to you much, it also wasn't the company's focus to create a scenery but rather robots and put various weapons in it and go to war defeat several other robots perhaps remembering a good time of power ranger when they went inside the "zords" to defeat the monsters

In this print below we can see that I broke the arm that the robot was holding the gun on, now the only thing he can do is throw punches with the other arm.

Now in the print below we can see the robot without its arms, it can no longer attack, just move around the scene

The game is super fun, there's no way not to enjoy it, you can assemble the robot the way you want with any weapon, change color, change the cover and configure it with something you like more, use the weapon you like most, a interesting thing about this game is that the robot has weight, this means that you can't equip everything, some weapons weigh more than others, this means that you need to sacrifice or you can use a robot with a very heavy armor to withstand a lot of damage and you use a light weapon it's up to you to use the strategy that suits you best

❗️ final consideration ❗️

My rating for the game is 10 out of 10, everything is perfect, perhaps as previously said, the battle scene may not be pleasing to the eye, but that's the least of it because what everyone really wants is to get on their robot and go into battle and defeat other robots, this was my post today about front mission 3, a game that I really like on the PlayStation, I hope you liked this review and I'll see you in another post, stay safe and have a great weekend! scrap

I spent so many hours in this game. I especially liked the secret wanzer and of course my own custom ones. This is also the first game I played that featured places in the Philippines and a Filipino character.

It's good to hear that, I love playing it, I never get bored, it's really fun, this mechanism where each part of the robot has HP and it is disabled in parts, it's very good

I guess that in this futuristic video game robots are the most effective weapons but of course it all depends on how we assemble our robot, good luck in the challenge!

Greetings and consider yourself welcome, also thank you very much for participating, but unfortunately we can not take you as a participant, since you did not follow the rules of the contest, I also invite you to read the rules of the community, as we evaluate screenshots where you can not see the HUD of the video games, even so, I invite you to see the publications of other players to get an idea of what we seek as a community, I hope to see you again and take into account the above mentioned

I honestly don't understand much, it's me playing the prints, I use a PlayStation emulator and the screen used when stretched looks ugly so I make it square instead of rectangular or should the print show the emulator? which also wouldn't make much sense since many games played in full screen don't show anything, I just think that this infinite set of rules only keeps users away from posting in the community because often the person just wants to post something that they want. is playing or scored when she was a child, but who am I to say anything, if the community have this rules so this is how it should be, but I'm going to look for another community to post my games, one that doesn't require so many things, be fine!

What he meant to say is that your post looks like general gaming post and we're looking for good gaming photographs.

I'm going to look for another community to post my games, one that doesn't require so many things, be fine!

You're welcome to do that, good luck.
