Small Victories .:. 1100 Followers!

It has passed almost EXACTLY 5 months (from May 4th) from my post where I was "celebrating" my 1000 followers! Today, I'm here again, but with 10% more followers, at the rounded number of 1100! First and most important, I would like to say something to my followers...

THANK YOU!

I hope that all of you who followed my account are satisfied with the content that I'm trying to create day by day, week by week... I hope that you got what you expected and that you can find value in them... I know that 1100 isn't some record number and that many other authors have a lot more, but I don't find that crucial... The main thing is that people get value, that they are around pushing forward, and if some of my posts encouraged just one person to build in these hard times, I'm already over the moon... 😃

There is another important thing connected with followers... On my channel/page, I try to share my personal experiences with cryptos, and investing in general... Share tips on how to survive hard times, where to focus, where to put your work, how to work smarter, and in almost all posts, I try to point out the importance of long-term thinking...

If you look at the last sentences, you will probably notice something that (doesn't) stand out... I DO NOT create content where I shill certain projects/tokens... I DO NOT create content where you can win 1 million BTC in a day... I DO NOT create content where I'm selling you methods to get-rich-quick... And I'm NOT asking you to go to X site, shill my post 10x, and then follow my account, and in the end, you will get candy...

All in all, my content isn't SEXY... Sometimes it sounds harsh and hard to accept, but life is sometimes like that, and if you are prepared, you will get out of it stronger... Building a business isn't an easy job and you will have many obstacles and bumps on the road... Everyone has... They are there to make you stronger! They are challenges that will make the reward sweeter...

I strongly believe that all of you who are here, in the crypto sphere, at this very moment, have a chance to MAKE a DIFFERENCE in your life... The numbers are low, we are maybe just thousands of people, compared to billions... You are among the FIRST people that have adopted cryptocurrency... Why would you spend your time clicking on websites for pennies, waiting for others to tell you what to do, and how to act?

You have a chance to be a LEADER! Someone has to lead those billions and you have an advantage... Learn, research, build... Don't give your power to others, take it for yourself and spread it among your community, and your friends... Leaders are what they are because they didn't give up their power... Here on this chain, your HIVE POWER is your POWER! With it you are building your team, you are encouraging others to do the same, and you lead by example! You create new leaders!

I like to celebrate these small victories... 1100 followers, 50K Hive Power, 100HP, 1 year on the chain, 5 years on the chain... It doesn't matter what you celebrate, you must have with WHOM to do it... Create a post, and share it with others, it will motivate you to continue building... And others will come to your post to encourage you! I will and I like to do that!!! Who doesn't like a good celebration cake or a glass of wine? 😃 🍷

Thank you! It would be a pity to NOT use our position... Yes, we are all different, but everyone has to make an effort and do what is needed to make a difference!

You are a great example of that... You didn't wait for others to tell you what to do... You did your Hive power-ups, you created challenges, you motivated others to take part in them...

Regarding showing posts in the feed... I know about 1 bug on Peakd regarding that... For example, if some of your followers reblog my post, and you turn on the FILTER to not show reblogs, the post will be skipped and it will not appear in your feed...

Not sure if that's what happened to you, but that happened to me a lot of times... The safest way to not miss stuff is to use the FAVORITES feed... ;)

Congratulations. I am nowhere close to that and I agree that it's better to be yourself. I don't think people need to stand out that much because on Hive, it's more about consistency.

You are right, consistency and authenticity are probably the most important things... Not just on HIVE, but everywhere... Building a "fake" personality can't last for long, and I'm not building the account and the network for a short term... The idea is to be here in 5-10, or 20 years!

Congratulations, you mention 1100 isn't that high as there are others with much more. Ofcourse there are always others who have more oor who are better.
But there are way more people with less followers..
In the end it doesn't matter, you achieved the amount of 1100, which is a great achievement, congratulations!
Keep posting 'unsexy', as you call it, content. I like it!
