Snip Snip

Spent some hours cutting anything that looks like a cuttable hedge today.

Surprisingly many things can look like a hedge or bonsai style tree if you cut enough.

Although there were a couple which I think are actually used for bonsai because of the way they grow, the one specifically was nice cause it had the perfect branching for those layered type ones we are use to seeing with the little pink flowers.

These were lifesize though and I guess that why they feel a bit more twiggy rather leafy as it always seems the little ones are.

Once cut though it all kinda blends well enough and does not look too twiggy.

Even cut the one which frankly I think is more of a weed but it got so bushy I commended it for the dedication by giving it a good trim, now it looks like a 70's bush.

All it all it was good exercise also, especially when I got to use the hand chainsaw to cut down a tree. No not a tiny saw, literally the chain with straps then find a firm stance and start pulling that fucker from side to side...chain go brrrrrr.

Also think I got a good tan in, which might help so I don't blind myself anymore in the sun and likely can trim better cause I can see.
