Remarkable

Whenever people give advice on how to succeed in content creation, you can bet it will be along the lines of "Create something of value, create something that people will enjoy."

Maybe even just create something remarkable.

Which technically is correct.

The same way that no publicity is bad publicity.

So whether people send you hate mail, or yell at each other in the comments, it is all good.

Because obviously you have done what you should in this world.

You created something that people can remark on.

Doing things people can remark on is at the core of every enterprise on the planet, whether they are the best goodie two shoes non-prof or cutthroat corp. It is the one thing that seemingly unites people from all walks of life.

They wish to be remarked on.

I guess it is a slippery slope into madness, so the kindest thing a person can do for many is to leave the room.

Hmmmm.... I don't agree at all :D

I've come 'ere for an argument!

Most people wish only to be remarked on as remarkable and wonderful and special.

Except Megamind. But he was just hurt and had issues. Same for all the villains, really. Their backstory's suck. But then so do the superheros.

I 'spose it really depends on the content creator's motivation. Same as everything at the end of the day.

Also. Why the heck should a person leave the room because the majority isn't okay with their own stuff?

Jesus wept.

The shortest verse in the Bible, apparently. But I've yet to read that book the whole way through...

Don't you dare leave anywhere because of the pack mentality. I'll spank you. The pack mentality is ALWAYS driven by fear. Always.

We humans haven't figured that part out yet. Best to stay until we do. Because avoidance perpetuates.

Now... nobody will bother reacting much to anyone else's content or, anything outside themselves, when they are all grown up and healthily individuated.

Fuck the room. The room is how humanity got itself into this mess.

No. Let the room sit in awkward silence until it figures its shit out :) and pull out all the rugs and throw out all the brooms.

Does my sassiness offend you? (Maya Angelou)

Tough shit :D

We're working on freedom. Aren't we? Everybody paying tons of cash on personal growth but can't even stare and elephant down.

I guess that's why the treatment industry makes so much money!

We all make mistakes. It's how we handle them that makes it good or bad publicity, you know ;)

But making mistakes is inevitable.

Shame and embarrassment?

Well... matter Yoda nailed it. Fear leads to...

And another thing.

If you're in a room that turns on you when you think or do something they don't like?

Instead of respecting your perspective as an individual?

That is called Narcissistic abuse, my angel. Look up the tactics and behaviors. Specifically for Vulnerable Narcissism. They're the most dangerous.

They're all about Power and Control over another human being. Slavery, really.

Mature, healthy conscious adults don't do that shit. Okay? And the impact on a person's health, who is is being exposed to that shit, is serious!

If that is the case then leave the room, lock the door and throw away the key. And run, Forest. RUN!

Agreed, but I mainly mean we create our rooms, stages if you will then people come and go , so for some an empty audience is the worst thing ever so all these other tactics arise to get an audience by any means.

Personally I don't give a hoot, I just move along. !PIZZA
