Hola querido hiver.

Hace unos días que descubrí la comunidad Hive Collectors dedicada a las colecciones de todo tipo. ¿Quién no ha guardado pequeños tesoros cuando era niño? Yo no fui una excepción. A lo largo de los años he acumulado algunos objetos que después han sucumbido en los diversos procesos de limpieza doméstica. Pero hay otros que por ocupar poco espacio han conseguido sobrevivir hasta nuestros días.

Es el caso de mi colección de bonos de autobús de Zaragoza, mi ciudad. Son tarjetas de cartón que valían para 10 viajes y salían más económicos de precio que comprar el billete sencillo. Para validar cada viaje teníamos que introducirlos en una máquina que había junto al conductor y en ella se "picaba" el bono.

En el lado izquierdo había números del 1 al 10 para saber cuántos viajes te faltaban de consumir. Y en su línea correspondiente se marcaba con un sello los datos que identificaban la fecha y hora del viaje, así como un código que hacía referencia a la máquina de validación. De este modo, si aparecía un revisor podía comprobar si habías pagado tu billete o no.

Al principio según mi recuerdo la empresa de transportes se limitaba a cambiar cada un poco el diseño de los bonos. Después conservaban la estética y solamente los cambiaban de color.

Hasta que en 1995 comenzaron a sacar un modelo diferente cada mes y muchos empezamos a coleccionarlos. Hubo años en los que ofrecían un descuento para el año siguiente a quien consiguiera hacerse con los doce modelos.

Para la primera colección no se molestaron en ser demasiado creativos, jeje. Tomaron edificios y monumentos emblemáticos de la ciudad.

Caigo en la cuenta de que en nada esta colección empieza a cumplir 30 años y me da un poco de vértigo. Puedo visualizarme con estas tarjetas en mi mano, para ir al instituto o para salir con mis amigas. ¡Lo que ha llovido!

Más adelante incorporaron el color e introdujeron colecciones más curiosas y desconocidas, como esta de obras pertenecientes al Museo Pablo Gargallo, uno de los escultores aragoneses más afamados.

Gracias a esta iniciativa todos los ciudadanos llevábamos arte en nuestros bolsillos. Me parece una bonita forma de acercarlo a las personas y fomentar el interés hacia los museos.

En 1998 cada mes se dedicó a un parque de los muchos que tiene la ciudad. Todos los barrios cuentan con un mínimo de zonas verdes y desde la Exposición Internacional del Agua celebrada en 2008 se multiplicaron y convirtieron la ciudad en un lugar más amigable.

No conservo bonos más recientes porque en 1999 pasé a utilizar un abono que servía para medio año y que ya no me molesté en guardar porque el diseño era minimalista. Pocos años después llegaron las tarjetas electrónicas que utilizamos ahora y que se pueden ir recargando incluso en algunos supermercados.

Desconozco por completo si esta colección puede tener algún valor económico. Aunque lo dudo mucho. Sin embargo, soy una televidente fiel a programas como La casa de empeños, jajaja, y no pierdo la esperanza de que tener un tesoro en mis cajones.

A few days ago I discovered the Hive Collectors community dedicated to collections of all kinds. Who hasn't kept little treasures as a child? I was no exception. Over the years I have accumulated some objects that have later succumbed to the various domestic cleaning processes. But there are others that have managed to survive to this day because they take up so little space.

This is the case of my collection of bus passes from Zaragoza, my city. They are cardboard cards that were good for 10 journeys and were cheaper than buying a single ticket. To validate each trip we had to insert them into a machine next to the driver and the voucher was "punched" into the machine.

On the left-hand side there were numbers from 1 to 10 to show how many journeys you had left to take. The corresponding line was marked with a stamp identifying the date and time of the journey, as well as a code that referred to the validation machine. In this way, if a ticket inspector appeared, he could check whether you had paid for your ticket or not.

At first, as far as I remember, the transport company simply changed the design of the vouchers from time to time. After that, they kept the aesthetics and only changed the colour.

Until 1995 when they started to bring out a different model every month and many of us started to collect them. There were years when they offered a discount for the following year to whoever managed to get all twelve models.

For the first collection they didn't bother to be too creative, hehe. They took emblematic buildings and monuments of the city.

I realise that this collection will soon be 30 years old and it makes me a bit dizzy. I can visualise myself with these cards in my hand, to go to highschool or to go out with my friends. What a lot of rain since then!

Later they incorporated colour and introduced more curious and unknown collections, such as this one of works belonging to the Pablo Gargallo Museum, one of the most famous Aragonese sculptors.

Thanks to this initiative, we all carried art in our pockets. It seems to me a nice way to bring it closer to people and to encourage interest in museums.

In 1998 each month was dedicated to one of the many parks in the city. Every neighbourhood has a minimum of green areas and since the International Water Exhibition in 2008 they have multiplied and made the city a friendlier place.

I don't have any more recent vouchers because in 1999 I switched to using a season ticket that was good for half a year and which I didn't bother to keep because the design was minimalist. A few years later came the electronic cards that we use now and which can be topped up even in some supermarkets.

I don't know if this collection has any economic value. Although I doubt it very much. However, I am a faithful viewer of programmes like Pawn Stars, hahaha, and I don't lose hope that I have a treasure in my drawers.
