Hola, querido hiver.

Ayer participé en el Hive Humpday Hangout Ep.09, un evento en vivo que @ph1102 presenta en el servidor de Discord de Ecency. En esta semana hemos compartido nuestras impresiones al respecto de cómo ha sido nuestro año 2023 en Hive. Fue una estupenda forma de intercambiar experiencias y aprender de los aciertos y errores que los demás se atrevieron a confesar.

Al ser un evento en inglés me vinieron muy bien las preguntas que nos propuso @ph1102 en la convocatoria, pues así me pude preparar mejor lo que quería transmitir. Esta publicación es una aproximación a lo que expuse mejor expresado y ordenado, ya que lo escribo primero en mi lengua materna.

Sin más preámbulos, te dejo con las cuestiones y mis respuestas:

¿Cumplió 2023 tus expectativas?
Sí, mucho más de lo esperado.

¿Qué fue lo más destacado del año para ti?
Destacaría dos momentos: El primero, llegar al estado de delfín a principios de septiembre y, después, alcanzar los 7 mil HP en noviembre.

¿Conociste a gente nueva y quiénes eran?
Ufff!!! He conocido mucha gente nueva, se me hace imposible nombrarlos a todos. No me quiero olvidar de nadie...

¿Asististe a algún evento IRL (en la vida real) con otros Hivianos? (Hive Meetup, HiveFest, o similares)
¡Sí! En septiembre participé en mi primer encuentro con hivers, en Tarragona, donde conocí a @damarysvibra, @mllg y @josegilberto. Este es el post que escribí:

Sumado al anterior, hace poco más de un mes recibí en mi ciudad una visita especial: viniste tú (me refiero a @ph1102) con tu bella y maravillosa esposa, además de que se nos unió @ninaesatshere al meetup. Lo cuento (casi todo) en este post:

¿Creció tu cuenta? (HivePower, seguidores, etc.)
¡Mucho! Respecto al Hive Power, empecé el año con menos de 3 mil HP y lo termino con más del doble y más allá, por lo que estoy más que satisfecha. Puedes confirmar estos datos en este post:

En cuanto a los seguidores, no llevo la cuenta de los seguidores que tengo. Sí que han subido y diría que incluso el porcentaje de aumento ha sido mayor que el de mi HP, pero no es algo que me preocupe. La única cosa que hago es que cuando noto que tengo un seguidor nuevo, si no lo conozco entro en su perfil para ver lo que publica por si me interesa seguirle también.

¿Cuáles son las iniciativas más interesantes en las que has participado?
Voy a hacer un poco de spam de la iniciativa que organizo en la comunidad @holos-lotus, jeje. En ella todas las semanas elijo a un autor que haya cumplido un par de reglas muy fáciles y tomo sus palabras como inspiración para escribir mi propia reflexión. Es una especie de homenaje a los autores que es bien recibido por ellos y que disfruto haciéndolo.
Otra es el Saturday Savers Club, que lo hago mensual. Es una buena forma de mantenerse enfocado en un objetivo y de darse cuenta del progreso de nuestra cuenta.
Por último, destaco también los eventos que se hacen aquí en, en el Discord de Ecency: me gusta mucho este en el que estamos hoy, y también lo paso bien en el de @incublus.

¿Saliste de tu zona de confort y cómo? ¡Inspira a otros a hacer lo mismo!
Sí, en este año he salido mucho de mi zona de confort:
-Hice un evento en vivo aquí en el Discord de Ecency como este pero todo en español, y el bilingüe de la semana pasada.
-En un curso de iniciación a Hive que organizaron desde @hivecuba participé como ponente enseñándoles las funcionalidades de Ecency y dando soporte de las dudas posteriores. Fue una experiencia que me gustó mucho porque el contenido se dio vía WhatsApp, un formato completamente novedoso para mí y que es eficaz.
-Hago curación de contenidos para varios proyectos: @ecency, @hispapro, @visualblock y en Hive Curators.

¿Cuáles son tus expectativas para 2024?
En 2024 me gustaría ir más despacio, pues este año ha sido de dedicación total a Hive y necesito descansar para no quemarme. Marco mi objetivo en los 10 mil HP. Pienso que puedo llegar a los 12 mil HP, pero prefiero no tener esa presión. Si llego, será genial, y si no lo consigo también estaré feliz.

Hasta aquí mi balance de lo que ha sido este año que pronto termina. Te invito a ver la grabación del evento para que puedas conocer las aportaciones del resto de participantes y comprobar mi horrible expresión oral en inglés.

Yesterday I participated in the Hive Humpday Hangout Ep.09, a live event hosted by @ph1102 on Ecency's Discord server. This week we shared our impressions of what our year 2023 has been like in Hive. It was a great way to exchange experiences and learn from the successes and mistakes that others dared to confess.

As it was an event in English, the questions proposed by @ph1102 in the call were very useful for me, as I was able to better prepare what I wanted to transmit. This publication is an approximation of what I said, better expressed and ordered, as I write it first in my mother tongue.

Without further ado, I leave you with the questions and my answers:

Did 2023 fulfill your expectations?
Yes, much more than expected.

What was the highlight of the year for you?
I would highlight two moments: The first, reaching dolphin status in early September, and then reaching 7,000 HP in November.

Did you meet some new people and who were they?
Phew! I've met so many new people, it's impossible for me to name them all. I don't want to forget anyone...

Did you attend some IRL (in real life) events with other Hivians? (Hive Meetup, HiveFest, or such)

Did your account grow? (HivePower, followers, etc.)
A lot! Regarding the Hive Power, I started the year with less than 3 thousand HP and ended it with more than double and beyond, so I am more than satisfied. You can confirm this data in this post:

As for followers, I don't keep track of how many followers I have. Yes they have gone up and I would say even the percentage increase has been higher than my HP, but it's not something I worry about. The only thing I do is that when I notice I have a new follower, if I don't know them I go to their profile to see what they post in case I'm interested in following them too.

What are the most interesting initiatives you participated in?
I'm going to spam the initiative I organise in the @holos-lotus community, hehe. Every week I choose an author who has fulfilled a couple of very easy rules and I take their words as inspiration to write my own reflection. It's a kind of homage to the authors that is well received by them and I enjoy doing it.
Another is the Saturday Savers Club, which I do monthly. It's a good way to stay focused on a goal and to keep track of the progress of our account.
Finally, I also highlight the events here on Ecency's Discord: I really like the one we're on today, and I also have a good time on the @incublus one.

Did you go out of your comfort zone and how? Inspire others to do the same!!!
-I did a live event here on the Ecency Discord like this one but all in Spanish, and the bilingual one last week.
-In an introductory course to Hive organised by @hivecuba I participated as a speaker teaching them the functionalities of Ecency and giving support for the subsequent doubts. It was an experience that I really liked because the content was given via WhatsApp, a completely new format for me and which is effective.
-I do content curation for several projects: @ecency, @hispapro, @visualblock and at Hive Curators.

What are your expectations for 2024?
In 2024 I would like to slow down, as this year has been a year of total dedication to Hive and I need to rest so I don't burn out. I'm aiming for 10,000 HP. I think I can get to 12,000 HP, but I'd rather not have that pressure. If I get there, it'll be great, and if I don't, I'll be happy too.
