Hola querido hiver.

Cuando @mipiano convocó a los Hive Collectors para que compartiésemos nuestras colecciones de tarjetas de Navidad pensé que no podría participar en su iniciativa. Había una variante para quienes, como yo, no habíamos conservado estas preciosas manifestaciones de recuerdo y cariño: las colecciones de decoraciones navideñas.

Pero... hace algunos años que no adornamos nuestra casa. El espíritu navideño se fue por el desagüe cuando comenzaron a faltar los pesos pesados de la familia, los troncos de los que nacimos las ramas que somos ahora. Ahora soy más bien como este:

Así que te doy la bienvenida a mi colección de árboles navideños capturados por la ciudad en la que vivo, jeje. No me llevé ninguno, tranquilo, me limité a robar sus imágenes.

Para esta caza de árboles tan particular dediqué una tarde a dar un paseo por los lugares en los que Zaragoza se viste de Navidad.

Como ves, encontré árboles artificiales y naturales con decoraciones modernas y minimalistas.

Después me tuve que concentrar en los escaparates de las tiendas para encontrar más árboles. Este me llamó mucho la atención por el adorno a conjunto que le tapaba el pie.

Tengo que investigar quién se inspiró en cierto emoji del WhatsApp para diseñar este modelo. ¡Confiesa que a ti también te recuerda a lo mismo!

En fin, acudamos a los clásicos que no pasan de moda. De este me gustaron las campanillas. En mi casa nunca las hemos puesto.

Este se parece más a lo que he conocido siempre, con bolas y regalos.

Aquí está el que me parece más elegante de todos los que vi en las tiendas. No está demasiado recargado y tiene variedad de color.

Por fin llegué a la zona de la Plaza del Pilar, donde se encuentran el mercado navideño y diversas atracciones para niños y menos niños. Eso te lo enseñaré en otra publicación.

Sshh... no le digas a nadie esto... es un secreto entre tú y yo... ¡este es el árbol de Navidad de la casa de Papá Noel! ¡Sí! Tuve mala suerte y no le encontré en casa, pero un elfo muy amable nos dejó mirar cómo vive con la condición de no tocar nada. ¡Qué emoción!

Este árbol me gustó mucho. Está en el ayuntamiento de la ciudad, en su vestíbulo principal. Está formado por ramas naturales de árboles de diferentes especies y adornado con elementos también naturales como fruta desecada y algodón. Me pareció una idea original y más respetuosa con el medio ambiente.

Sin embargo, por encima de todos los árboles que te he enseñado a lo largo de esta publicación, el que más representa el espíritu navideño es este último. Se llama árbol de los deseos y eso que cuelga de sus ramas son ramilletes de tarjetas en las que las personas escriben sus deseos para el próximo año. Es bonito ver cómo casi todos piden lo mismo: salud, amor, paz.

La Navidad es un tiempo agridulce que nos recuerda que la vida no se para, aprovechémosla para agradecer lo que tenemos y disfrutarlo. Aunque, de igual forma...

When @mipiano called on the Hive Collectors to share our Christmas card collections I thought I would not be able to participate in his initiative. But... it's been a few years since we decorated our house. The Christmas spirit went down the drain when the heavyweights of the family, the trunks from which the branches we are now were born, began to be missing. Now I'm more like this one:

So welcome to my collection of Christmas trees captured by the city I live in, hehe. I didn't take any of them, don't worry, I just stole their images.

For this particular tree hunt I spent an afternoon walking around the places where Zaragoza dresses up for Christmas.

As you can see, I found artificial and natural trees with modern and minimalist decorations.

Then I had to concentrate on the shop windows to find more trees. This one really caught my eye because of the matching ornament covering its base.

I have to find out who was inspired by a certain WhatsApp emoji to design this model - confess that it reminds you of the same thing!

Anyway, let's go to the classics that never go out of fashion. I liked the bells on this one. We have never used them in my house.

This one looks more like what I've always known, with balls and presents.

Here is the one I think is the most elegant of all the ones I saw in the shops. It's not too ornate and has a variety of colours.

Finally I got to the Plaza del Pilar area, where you can find the Christmas market and various attractions for children and less children. I'll show you that in another post.

Sshh... don't tell anyone about this... it's a secret between me and you... this is the Christmas tree at Santa's house! Yes! I was unlucky and couldn't find him at home, but a very kind elf let us watch how he lives on the condition that we don't touch anything. What a thrill!

I really liked this tree. It is in the town hall, in the main hall of the city. It is made of natural branches from trees of different species and decorated with natural elements such as dried fruit and cotton wool. I thought it was an original idea and more environmentally friendly.

However, above all the trees that I have shown you throughout this publication, the one that most represents the Christmas spirit is this last one. It's called the wishing tree and what hangs from its branches are bunches of cards on which people write their wishes for the coming year. It is nice to see how almost everyone asks for the same thing: health, love, peace.

Christmas is a bittersweet time that reminds us that life doesn't stand still, let's take advantage of it to be thankful for what we have and enjoy it. Although, in the same way...
