Season 109 has come to an end, the first one I played complete, and with a very ambitious goal: to finish among the top 25 of the Silver League. Things didn't go as planned, but it was a season of great learning.

Top of Silver or Bottom of Gold?

The dream of reaching the top 25 in Silver didn't happen. I was 117 points away from my goal, but my last battles were downhill, so I ended up ranked 94th:

Advised by the folks at @hive-br, I decided to make the "gold leap" for better rewards in the next season, and finished Season 109 in 1520th place in Gold:

So here's my advice based on recent learning: don't focus on the rank table, put your efforts into obtaining good rewards throughout the season, whether it's SPS in battles or accumulating reward chests. And try to climb to the Gold League, which rewards much better than the Silver League.

Rewards

As a newcomer, my seasonal chests were still Bronze, and it was quite disappointing to open 117 chests for so few rewards:

A measly 5.355 SPS, 94 merits, 36 card copies, 11 Gold potions, and 11 Legendary potions. Lamentable.

Let's take a look at the season as a whole to see if it's any better:

117.906 SPS in battles, 16.146 SPS from chests, 373 merits, 146 card copies (including 2 gold ones), 44 Gold potions, and 26 Legendary potions. Valued at $6.59 dollars. Seems good.

Cards

My soulbound cards are still far from the necessary level to play without penalty, especially now that I'm a "golden boy". My best cards are at level 3, and the Gold League requires a minimum level of 5 for common cards and level 3 for epic cards - all of which are at level 1. So, at the moment, they are hurting my earnings, but it's okay, I rarely use them.

Investment

After some study, I was able to extract and analyze my expenses in season 109, and I came up with the table below:

22,559.83 DEC is approximately equal to R$95, a lot of money... The HBD I earned in posts are included there, about R$30, which means I invested R$65 in those 15 days. If we go back to the rewards summary, we'll see that I "earned" around R$32 in-game, which means I effectively spent about R$35. In general, I can say that for every R$2 I invested in the game, the community gave me R$1 (which I reintested) and the game gave me another R$1 as well (which are staked on SPS ou soulbond cards).

I need to keep an eye on these expenses so that I don't exceed my budget. This season, I'll control my impulses better, but I'm so excited about the game and the community that I see this money spent as an investment in intangible things as well.

Chegou ao fim a temporada 109, a primeira que joguei completa, e com uma meta bastante ambiciosa: terminar entre os top 25 da Liga de Prata. As coisas não saíram bem como eu esperava, mas foi uma temporada de muito aprendizado e recompensas.

Top do prata, ou fundo do ouro?

O sonho do top 25 no Prata não aconteceu, cheguei a estar a 117 pontos da meta, mas minhas últimas batalhas foram só ladeira abaixo, e eu iria acabar em 94 no rank:

Daí, me aconselhando como pessoal da @hive-br, decidi dar o "salto de ouro" para obter melhores recompensas na próxima temporada, e terminei a 109 em 1520º do Ouro:

Então, aqui vai o meu conselho, fruto do aprendizado recente: não se importe com a tabela do rank, foque seus esforços em obter boas recompensas ao longo da temporada, seja SPS nas partidas, seja acumulando baús de recompensas. E tente subir pra Liga Ouro, que recompensa muito melhor que a liga de Prata.

Recompensas

Por ser novato, meus baús de temporada eram Bronze ainda, e foi bem decepcionante o resultado de abrir 117 baús para tão poucas recompensas:

Cartas

Minhas cartas soulbound ainda estão distantes do necessário pra jogarem sem penalidade, sobretudo agora que sou um "menino de ouro". Minhas melhores cartas estão no nível 3, e a Liga Ouro exige nível 5 mínimo das cartas comuns e nível 3 das épicas - que estão todas nível 1. Então, no momento, elas estão prejudicando meus rendimentos, mas ok.

Investimento

Depois de algum estudo, consegui extrair e analisar meus gastos na temporada 109, e cheguei na tabela abaixo:

22.559,83 DEC equivalem a aproximadamente R$95, a lot of money... Os HBD que colhi nos posts estão incluídos aí, cerca de R$30, o que significa que investi R$65 nesses 15 dias. Se voltarmos ao resumo das recompensas, veremos que "faturei" ingame cerca de R$32, o que significa que gastei efetivamente cerca de R$35. Generalizando, posso dizer que para R$2 que eu investi no jogo, a comunidade de deu R$1, e o jogo me deu outro R$1, também.
Preciso ficar de olho nesses gastos, pra não estourar o orçamento, nesta temporada vou controlar melhor meus impulsos, mas estou tão animado com o jogo, com a comunidade, que vejo essa grana gasta como um investimento em coisas intangíveis, também.
