Antes que nada cordiales saludos y mis mejores deseos para todos los miembros de la comunidad de Top Five Family y para todos los miembros de Hive en general.
Esta es mi participación en el concurso de esta semana.
Historia:
Cuando vi la foto de la iniciativa de esta semana, me recordé de mi trabajo como Inspector de Seguridad Laboral en una empresa de construcción, que en el año 2007 estaba trabajando en realizar la autopista hacia el oriente del país.
Esa fue una época bien interesante, debido a que tuve que trabajar en esa área de seguridad en la industria de la construcción para poder pagarme los estudios. Y puedo decir que ese trabajo en el área de la salud y la seguridad laboral, cambió mi vida, ya que después de ver un accidente laboral, ver sus consecuencias en la vida del trabajador a nivel familiar y laboral, además de ver la situación que ocasionó el accidente en los otros trabajadores y en la empresa.
Me llevó a investigar más y más sobre el tema, y me ayudo a convertirme en un especialista en el área, hasta el punto de escribir artículos académicos sobre el tema, y después escribir dos libros y dar exposiciones y ponencias sobre el ámbito de la prevención y la seguridad laboral.
En realidad fue una época muy bonita, después trabajé en el INSASEL, cuando estaba naciendo el instituto, y finalmente, cuando la situación política y económica del país se puso pesada, por llamarla de alguna manera, decidí montar una empresa de asesoría laboral, dedicada a la materia de la salud y la seguridad en el trabajo.
Realmente fue una época muy bonita, productiva e interesante, que terminó gracias a la crisis económica y al cierre masivo de empresas en el país, lo que me obligó a cerrar la empresa en la época de la pandemia del COVID.
Después trabajé de nuevo en el área, en una institución del Estado, y la verdad es que termine tan asqueado de la administración pública, de su maltrato a los trabajadores y de sus bajos sueldos, que decidí retirarme e iniciar un emprendimiento productivo.
Después de esa experiencia, comentada en el párrafo de arriba, decidí, ponerme a trabajar por mi cuenta, pero no he tenido la oportunidad de trabajar de nuevo en un área tan hermosa, tan bonita, constructiva y comprometida con la vida de los trabajadores, como lo es, la salud y la seguridad laborales.

This is my entry in this week's contest.
History:
When I saw the photo of this week's initiative, I was reminded of my job as an Occupational Safety Inspector in a construction company, which in 2007 was working on building the highway to the east of the country.
That was a very interesting time, because I had to work in that area of safety in the construction industry to be able to pay for my studies. And I can say that this work in the area of occupational health and safety changed my life, because after seeing a work accident, seeing its consequences in the life of the worker at the family and work level, in addition to seeing the situation that caused the accident in the other workers and in the company.
It led me to research more and more on the subject, and helped me to become a specialist in the area, to the point of writing academic articles on the subject, and then writing two books and giving exhibitions and presentations on the field of prevention and occupational safety.
It was actually a very nice time, then I worked at INSASEL, when the institute was being born, and finally, when the political and economic situation of the country got heavy, to call it somehow, I decided to set up a labor consulting company, dedicated to the subject of health and safety at work.
It really was a very beautiful, productive and interesting time, which ended thanks to the economic crisis and the massive closure of companies in the country, which forced me to close the company at the time of the COVID pandemic.
Then I worked in the area again, in a state institution, and the truth is that I ended up so disgusted with the public administration, its mistreatment of workers and its low salaries, that I decided to retire and start a productive enterprise.
After that experience, mentioned in the paragraph above, I decided to start working on my own, but I have not had the opportunity to work again in an area as beautiful, as beautiful, constructive and committed to the lives of workers, as it is, occupational health and safety.
