On the quest for more money, this happened...
Even the rich are always looking for better ways to be richer. The middle class and the poor aren't left out of the race. Everyone needs more money to attend to needs, pay bills, and live a good life. No wonder smart ones don't joke with investment; they make good use of every available legit opportunity to expand their wealth, and that's a great thing. Personally, I love money. I know you love it too. My driving force behind waking up daily to hustle on every side is to make more money for myself and my family so we can live a good life. However, I wouldn't be foolish on the quest for more money.
I had an encounter with someone yesterday, and his decision to make money at the point was foolish. There are lessons to learn daily in this life: more money is good, but being wise in sensitive decisions might save the day!
I met a guy yesterday in his chemist store who was feeling so depressed and frustrated!
He has a debt of #480,000 to pay in 48 hours.
He had #400,000 but did not have the remaining #80,000.
A friend advised him to play "bet naija" (gambling) and stand the chance of getting millions of naira in hours.
He foolishly accepted
Now for the main gist.
He lost the #400,000 completely while gambling.
He told me that he lacked the words to break the bad news to his dear wife. He needed someone to talk to, which is why he opened up to me. Well, I blamed him for hiding such a decision from his so-called "dear wife." I know that his wife may have objected to such a decision. I told him that the best thing he could have done is pay the money he has on hand and plead with the person he owes it to exercise some patience for him instead of gambling with your 90% of the money. The deed was already done; in my capacity, I gave him some words of wisdom, hopefully he wouldn't make such a mistake again.
Atimes, greediness, lack of patience, too much of keeping things confidential,bad influence etc, can lead to unnecessary loss. It's also smart that before making some sensitive decisions, you talk to someone so nice and close to your heart who will always tell you the truth. Maybe this guy wouldn't have lost his hard-earned money on the quest for more money.

I think when one is married, you don't just take a decision yourself again but to bring your wife into the matter. I am sure the woman would have objected, I trust my smart genders. Why would someone use 90% of his debt to gamble when he could have paid and pleaded with the owner for more time. Some people do things rashly and in the end, they regret.

An advice can help a person and it can ruin a person too , just ensure you pick the right advice. The guy in your story picked the wrong advice and that ruined more things for him.

Well the bible says in the place of many council there is wisdom, he would have told his wife first before taking such bold decision now the wife must hear of it after he as made the decision already. This bet of a thing has ended some many marriages, make some men go down to zero, I know of a friend who gamble is school fee if not for the help of friends that helped him out. Well the best thing for him to do is to tell his wife and then learn from this experience
