He Arose but not like Bread

Easter season is one of the best times of the year for the christians. It is a season to commemorate or to bring to remeberance the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus which is a proof of love for mankind.

Why did he die?

Some might have thought He (Jesus) stole, murdered or did money ritual and death sentence was passed as judgement against his action but that was not what happened. For the bible says: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,... -Rom. 3: 23.

The world never knew there was a need for a saviour because everything looks good even as it is in our current dispensation but the creator knew what He intended to build (Gen.1.26 - And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.) and how it had been truncated by the enemy; the devil through disobedience (Gen.3.9 - And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? Gen.3.10 - And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. Gen.3.11 - And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?). So, if everything is booming to man (the creation), everything has fallen apart to the creator (the Creator). Hence, a saviour is needed.

Here, comes the birth of he that had been spoken about by the prophets of old (Isa.7.14 - Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.) even if it was not opened to all men but the Jews heard it, wrote it and waited for the manifestation of it (Luke.2.25 - And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. Luke.2.26 - And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ. Luke.2.27 - And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, Luke.2.28 - Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Luke.2.29 - Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: Luke.2.30 - For my eyes have seen Your salvation Luke.2.31 - Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;

All men now have the ability to go back to the initial intention of the creation of God in the garden of Eden.

It is no more news that Jesus died and resurrected but have you died and resurrected through the salvation that is made available in his death, burial and resurrection because without it, easter season will just be a party and not have any significance.

Perhaps, you might have done the previous paragraph but have you been transformed back to the initial image that makes you look like God ?
