RE: ThreeTunesTuesday - Far Away from Saving the Worls as we Know it?

Two I know already (part of my collection). I've not heard Far Away - Tom Samit. Ten seconds in and I know I really like it. Some of the sound reminded of a song that I can't think of at the moment.

Who could say that he lives his life absolutely honest to himself and others.

It's not possible to fully be that in this construct/world. Most prefer the beautiful lie not the ugly truth is why.

Some of those techno sounds always seem similar to me.
White lies can also be good sometimes I think. Just wonder why we cannot always be true to ourselves

It's one specific song and I can hear it in my head, just can't connect it with the song (call it a short circuit).

White lies can also be good sometimes I think.

I really don't know. I can only speak to what I prefer, which is the ugly truth, no matter how ugly. At least then, I know what I'm dealing with and if I'm disturbed by that, I better look at why I am disturbed. It's the way I've always been.

Just wonder why we cannot always be true to ourselves

That gets complicated fast. It's an individual journey of discovering oneself.

Its a difficult topic. Look at people dying because of bad prognosis, maybe a white lie would have been better and instead giving trust and hope there might be a way?

I dont know. But in general am the person going with the truth.

I'm not sure what you're referring to. I tend to unplug from a lot of things, so that could be why.

Again, I don't know. Lies, lying, all of it gets complicated. Been trying to sort that out most of my life (yes, I'm serious).

Probably the important aspect regarding lies is to never lie to oneself. That's where causing oneself problems begins. I learned the hard way.

nocebos

I've never heard that word before. I like it.

I don't much concern myself with anything other than not lying to myself, so in that sense absolutely. Lies beyond that, I trust my ability to discern when that is happening and choose my response or lack of response in the moment.

It's just for me, although if you find anything useful in what I say, feel free to give it a try.

The whole lying thing has been a nemesis of mine for the majority of my life, so I've been trying to sort it for that long. I only settled on what I said in my last comment about ten years ago.

Based on what I observe, many people struggle with this lying thing. Always, I find it best to figure out what is right for yourself specifically because you know best what is right for you above anyone else.

Yes, guess this will also be an important part of my healing journey. Knowing my truth but also living by my true values
Thank you for the input ❤️

It's not an easy journey, but it's the most worthwhile one of true value. I'd do it all over again because of how much I grew and where I am now.

Thank you for the input ❤️

You're most welcome! 💖
