It is odd not to see trees or grass on the hills behind the buildings, do you live in a desert?

It was a desert area before. Now a busy town.
Yes, the greenery is quite less here. In Oman, most of the hills are devoid of trees 🌳.

Thank you for answering. I thought it had to be desert land, it would be so strange to me to live in an area with no greenery, but there is still beauty in it.
