Playing with Immortalis [ESP-ENG]

En mi Social Media anterior hablé sobre Possibilus the Wise, así que ahora le toca el turno al nuevo invocador legendario del Splinter Tierra. Inmortalis. Igual que Possibilus, no lo había usado nunca y estoy haciendo un recuento de mi aprendizaje sobre el juego ya que han habido muchos cambios y añadidos que han cambiado el juego por completo, así que aquí les traigo un nuevo post donde daré mi opinión sobre el nuevo invocador

In my previous Social Media Challenge I talked about Possibilus the Wise, so now it's the turn of Splinter Earth's new legendary summoner. Immortalis. Just like Possibilus, I had never used it before and I'm doing a recount of my learning about the game as there have been many changes and additions that have changed the game completely, so here I bring you a new post where I will give my opinion about the new legendary summoner.

Hablemos sobre la carta.

Este invocador es legendario, como ya mencione arriba, y cuesta 6 puntos de mana como todos los legendarios de Chaos Legion, tiene una desventaja para los oponentes y dos habilidades. La desventaja es que disminuye la vida de las cartas oponentes en 1 punto, y otorga las habilidades Void y Shatter a tus cartas.

Ventajas.

De entrada, por el Void, es una carta perfecta para enfrentar alineaciones mágicas, pero gracias a sus otros dos bonos mas las posibles combinaciones que tiene en su splinter, se hace muy versátil a la hora de darle un uso. Como dato curioso, es perfecto para hacerle counter a Obsidian, su invocador aliado del splinter Tierra.

Desventajas.

Si se le anticipa se le pueden anular 2 de sus 3 bonos, añadiendo cartas que no tengan ataque mágico ni armadura y así podrías dejar 2 tercios de su utilidad completamente en el aire, y no es que no se puedan enviar equipos poderosos ignorando estas dos características asi que si, como todos los legendarios de Chaos Legion, es un invocador muy situacional.

Let's talk about the card.

This is a legendary rarity summoner of Chaos Legion edition, as I mentioned above, and costs 6 mana points like all Chaos Legion legendaries so far, it has a disadvantage for opponents and two abilities. The disadvantage is that it decreases the life of opponent cards by 1 point, and grants the abilities Void and Shatter to your cards.

Advantages.

First of all, because of the Void, it is a perfect card to face magic alignments, but thanks to its other two bonuses plus the possible combinations it has in its splinter, it is very versatile when it comes to use it. As a curious fact, it is perfect to counter Obsidian, his summoner ally of the Earth splinter.

Disadvantages.

If you anticipate well this summoner you can cancel two of his three bonuses, adding cards that have no magic attack or armor and so you could leave 2 thirds of its usefulness completely in the air, and it is not that you can not send powerful teams ignoring these two features so yes, like all Chaos Legion legendaries, it is a very situational summoner.

¿Como jugar con el?

Debes enfocar su uso en aquellas batallas contra la magia y enfocar sus ventajas para cuando los rulesets de la batalla te permitan tener ventaja, Armored Up es un buen ejemplo en el que este invocador seria muy util, o en el recientemente agregado Wands Out donde solo se pueden usar cartas magicas, asi que el Void de Inmortalis va a ser muy potente.

How to play with it?

You should focus its use in those battles against magic and focus its advantages for when the rulesets of the battle allow you to have an advantage, Armored Up is a good example where this summoner would be very useful, or in the recently added Wands Out where only magic cards can be used, so the Void of Immortalis will be very powerful.

Comparaciones con otros invocadores.

Este me ha gustado mucho mas de lo que me gustó Possibilus, pero si que influyó mucho el hecho de que yo no soy un jugador del splinter agua, siendo 100% objetivo los pondria a todos en el mismo peldaño, ninguno de ellos es lo suficientemente fuerte para considerar que esta roto, pero tiene una utilidad perfecta para momentos especificos. Eso lo he dicho muchas veces que me parece una maravilla porque el juego se vuelve mucho mas estrategico con cartas que estan pensadas asi, y eso se hace incluso mas marcado con Riftwatchers y las nuevas Reward Soulbound.

Comparisons with other summoners.

I liked this summoner so much more than I liked Possibilus the Wise, but I admit that this may be influenced a lot the fact that I am not a splinter water player, so... being one hundre percent objective I would put them all on the same rung, none of them is strong enough in comparison with the others to consider that it is broken, but it has a perfect utility for specific moments. I have said many times that I think it is a wonder because the game becomes much more strategic with cards that are thought so, and that is even more marked with Riftwatchers and the new Soulbound Reward.

Cartas que combinan bien con Inmortalis.

Mycelic Slipspawn y Grund se benefician mucho de Inmortalis, sobre todo Grund que al tener doble ataque y capacidad de romper armadura, potencia mucho su habilidad.

Otros buenos ejemplos son Coeurl Lurker y Runemancer Florre que amplían mucho su rango de uso porque les hace fuerte contra la que exactamente es su debilidad, la magia.

¿Que decir sobre Kron que no se sepa ya? Este invocador le puede dar a Kron un uso perfecto contra la magia y Terraceous Hulk con Inmortalis se convierte en un tanque que puede hacerle frente a absolutamente todo si se le combina con buena curacion y reparacion de armadura. Ademas Thane Newsong se puede combinar excelente con las nuevas habilidades mas los bonos de este invocador para convertirlo en una carta realmente increible.

Cards that combine well with Immortalis.

Mycelic Slipspawn and Grund benefit a lot from Immortalis, especially Grund who, having double attack and armor breaking ability, greatly enhances his ability.

Other good examples are Coeurl Lurker and Runemancer Florre which greatly extend their range of use because it makes them strong against what exactly is their weakness, magic.

What can we say about Kron The Undiying that is not already known by all the Splinterlands players? This legendary summoner can give Kron a perfect use against magic and Terraceous Hulk with Immortalis becomes a tank that can deal with absolutely anything if combined with good healing and armor repair. Thane Newsong can also combine excellently with the new abilities plus this summoner to make it a truly amazing card.

Aqui les muestro unas batallas en las que esta carta fue determinante para conseguirme victorias en el rango bronce, con lo que queda demostrado que puedes usarla en cualquier rango, solo debes encontrar la estrategia correcta.

Here below I will show you some of the battles in which Possibilus the Wise was decisive to get me and my cards to victories playing in the bronze rank, which shows that you can use this card in any rank, you just have to find the right strategy.

Standard; 99 Mana Cap

Immortalis es un buen counter para Kelya por la habilidad Shatter y en esta batalla queda muy bien mostrado eso, mi oponente basa su estrategia en potenciar la armadura y usar a Oshannus como arma principal, justo lo que Immortalis esta hecho para detener, pues de un solo golpe toda la armadura existente desaparece y el Oshannus es poco peligroso con el Void activo. Agrego a Slipspawn solo como distraccion para que mi Grund dure mas en la batalla y asi pueda hacer mucho mas daño.

Un dato curioso, el daño extra del Blast no aplica la habilidad Shatter, es decir no destruye la armadura.

Immortalis is a good counter summoner for Kelya Frendull because of the Shatter ability that you gain from him and in this battle is very well shown that, my opponent bases his strategy in boosting the armor and using Oshannus as main weapon, just what Immortalis is made to stop, because in one hit all the existing armor disappears and the Oshannus is not very dangerous with the Void active. I add Slipspawn only as a distraction so that my Grund lasts longer in the battle and can do much more damage.

A curious fact, the extra damage from the Blast does not apply the Shatter ability, i.e. it does not destroy the armor.

Wands Out + Healed Out; 58 Mana cap

Aquí podemos apreciar un enfrentamiento de alto voltaje entre dos jugadores que usan al mismo invocador para hacerle frente al ruleset Wands Out, ya que es un counter perfecto para eso. La combinación de habilidades es increíble y el Shatter es determinante para Oaken Behemoth pueda tumbar al enemigo rápido y a la vez ayudar al equipo haciéndole daño al Mycelic Slipspawn. La base de esta victoria esta centrada en combinar la habilidad Silence con el Void del invocador haciendo que todas las cartas enemigas queden con un solo punto de ataque y así, no puedan hacerle daño al tanque que tiene Void y asi es intocable.

Here on this battle we can see a high voltage confrontation between two players in Champions League using the same summoner Immortalis to face the ruleset Wands Out that only admits magic cards, as it is a perfect counter for that. The combination of skills is incredible and the Shatter is determinant for Oaken Behemoth to knock down the enemy fast and at the same time help the team doing damage to the Mycelic Slipspawn. The base of this victory is focused on combining the Silence ability with the summoner's Void, making all the enemy cards with only one attack point so they can't damage the tank that has Void.

Conclusiones.

Este invocador tiene mucho rango de uso a mi parecer, ya que aunque no haya magia en la batalla sigue teniendo buena utilidad gracias a sus otros dos bonos, asi que creo que es una carta excelente. Todavia tengo que ver como es su funcionamiento en rangos altos asi que pronto traere una nueva version de este post, apuntandolo hacia el rango de oro, que es a donde pretendo volver.

Conclusions.

This summoner has a lot of range of use in my opinion and we could see that in this post, because even if there is no magic in the battle it still has good utility thanks to its other two bonuses, so I think it is an excellent card. I still have to see how it works at higher ranges so I will soon bring a new version of this post, aiming it towards the gold range, which is where I intend to return.
