Hello Hive.

Most of the problems we have found ourselves in has been because we haven't learn how to manage the resources we have at hand.
They say that old habits die hard which is very true and why we ought to pick these children young.

Most of the things I learnt as a child has sticked with me until now.
I learnt how to lay my bed and the importance of doing so at the tender age of 5 and still do the same till now.

If we are concerned about the well being and financial status of our children when they become adults, teaching sound financial education is a major key that determines how they manage to increase, decrease or multiply the monies that enters their hand.

Why we need to save
The importance of making budgets
Keeping emergency funds
Monetary self discipline and so many topics exist within the financial curricular systems and things meant for children to learn.

My sister is just 10yeaers of age but has learnt how to write a list and budget for the things she needs.

Most times I get this long list of things she wishes to buy, the important once and others she is willing to let do or do without if I am not within the capacity to provide them for her. She understand my income, the market and prices of things and she is quite disciples about contentment.

Having gotten a local piggy bank for herself, savings is a daily task which she has used the money therein to set and achieve certain goals.
This is a good example and role model for children.

With these children can learn the habits of investing and planning a stable financial future from a tender age.
