San Elijo Lagoon and Annie's Canyon - San Diego, CA [EN/PT-BR]

This week I went for another hike to Annie's Canyon, I've been there before but I took a different trail as you can see in this previous post. This time I started my hike near Cardiff State Beach, the trailhead is at the end of N Rios Ave. In this first picture you can see the trailhead with a panoramic view of the east side of San Elijo Lagoon with Interstate 5 Hwy in the background.

Essa semana fui fazer outra caminhada até Annie's Canyon, eu ja estive lá antes mas fui por outra trilha como voce pode ver neste outro post. Desta vez eu iniciei a caminhada perto da Praia de Cardiff, e o início da caminhada fica no final de uma rua, a N Rios Ave. Nesta primeira foto voce pode ver o inicio da caminhada com uma visão panoramica da parte leste da Lagoa de San Elijo e a Auto Estrada Interestadual 5 ao fundo.

In the next pictures you can see our way to get to Annie's Canyon. We took a trail that we could see the lagoon from higher grounds and more panoramic views of the lagoon. It is a very easy hike, mostly flat for about 15 minutes to get to the entrance of Annie's Canyon.

Nas próximas fotos voce pode ver o nosso caminho até chegar em Annie's Canyon. A gente foi por uma trilha que tinha mais alta que tinha uma vista mais panorâmica da lagoa. A caminhada é bem fácil, a maior parte é plana e demorou uns 15 minutos até chegar a entrada de Annie's Canyon.

Annie's Canyon is one of these unique places, the rock formations are very cool and impressive. This is not a good place to go if you are claustrophobic, as it is a one way trail that gets very narrow in some parts. There are usually a lot of people on the trail, including small kids. The pictures don't make justice, but still gives a very good ideia of what it looks like. Super fun little hike!

Annie's Canyon é um desse lugares únicos, as formações das pedras são muito legais e impressionantes. Este não é um lugar muito legal se voce for claustrofóbico, pois a trilha só tem um sentido e fica bem estreita em alguns trechos. Normalmente tem bastante gente fazendo a trilha, incluindo crianças pequenas. As fotos não fazem justiça, mas podem dar uma boa idéia de como é o lugar. É uma caminhada super legal!

On the way back we took a trail closer to the lagoon, you can see it on the map at the beginning of this post. The water looks super nice, but you can't swim or fish there. We saw a few ducks and some fishes were jumping on the water.

Na volta nós pegamos uma trilha diferente mais próxima da lagoa, voce pode ver no mapa que coloquei no inicio deste post. A água parece super gostosa, mas é proibido mergulhar ou pescar aqui. A gente viu uns patos e tinham alguns peixes pulando na água.
