Am I Diamond hands or Stupid…
I have been holding a small but sizable for me amount of DEC for months. I gradually been adding daily but I am pondering if it will be worth it?
I tend to buy and sell at the worse possible time and as of now I feel I am about to make a big mistake if I sold. Yet the price of DEC has steadily been declining and I am not yielding any interest for holding.
Unlike DEC SPS is also falling but at least staking the token is allowing me to earn more. In the long run it will increase in my total token holdings with the passive income through staking.
I know Aggy had stated several times that holding some DEC is going to be worth it as land 1.5 will likely make the stable token a yielding token. Yet the question is when? Is it really going to happen soon or maybe in a few more months.
I know the mavericks are beta testing the expansion and it appears to be all the hype that people had expected. Yet there is still the gamble that land 1.5 will not bring in the demand that is anticipated. I wonder if the wait will out weight the profits?
In the end I am really holding on as I truly believe the Splinterlands teams have what best intend to make this a big success. Players who have invested their time and hard earn money can concur waiting just a little longer is doable. There isn’t much more I can think over this but to hold out for hopes of a brighter day.
My strategy if DEC falls in value after land rollout is to trade the tokens for cards. On the flip side if land does well I will have plenty of cards to sell or even burn to accumulate more DEC. The end result is I am trying to trade for a profit here. We will have to see how this goes.

It's tough but I do know that they have kind of stopped the minting of DEC. So the supply of DEC isn't really going to go up. However, I think land will still take another month or two before it goes live.

All the holders at the moment have to hold on to things because if they sell into the market they are worth absolutely nothing, so it is better to wait a little longer after waiting so long. Will have to wait.
