Nach meinen 2 vergangenen Berichten über meine Urlaube in Sölden, Serfaus - Fiss - Ladis und am Walensee, möchte ich dir heute noch von einem Kurztrip im Juni diesen Jahres berichten.

Normalerweise reise ich ja eher kurzfristig, wenn das Wetter passt. Egal ob Kurzurlaub oder für mehrere Wochen. Dieser Kurztrip mit 4 Freunden war aber schon Monate im voraus geplant, trotzdem hatten wir es mit dem Wetter ganz gut erwischt, wie du sehen wirst...

Nach knapp über 2,5 Std. Anfahrt starteten wir in Kandersteg. Unser Tagesziel war nur der direkte Aufstieg zur Doldenhornhütte.

Als wir oben auf 1915 m angekommen sind, war das Wetter noch top und wir gönnten uns erstmal ein schönes Bier. Ich wie immer alkoholfrei - ich trinke schon seit über 10 Jahren kein Alkohol mehr.

Nachdem wir unser Schlafquartier bezogen hatten, gingen wir nochmal raus und erkundeten die nähere Umgebung. Zum einen hatten wir einen tollen Ausblick auf den Oeschinensee,...

...und ein Kumpel und ich genossen noch ein erfrischendes Eisbad bei ca. 0 Grad 😀.

Am Abend gab es dann noch ein leckeres Essen und wir ließen den Tag gemütlich bei Karten- und Brettspielen ausklingen.

In der Nacht regnete es und als wir früh morgens aufbrachen, war es noch etwas frisch und auch neblig.

Im Verlauf der Tour war es erstmal weiterhin bewölkt, dafür aber sehr angenehm. Nicht zu kalt und vor allem nicht zu heiß - perfekte Wandertemperatur.

Kurz vor unserem letzten Anstieg noch ein kühles Bier mit toller Aussicht auf den Oeschinensee. Zwischendurch kam auch immer wieder die Sonn durch. 😎

Auf dem Rückweg hatten wir immer wieder einen tollen Ausblick von oben auf den Oeschinensee. Das Wetter wurde zunehmend immer besser und Sonne lächelte uns zu.

Ich habe noch viel mehr Bilder, allerdings immer mit mindestens einem meiner Freunde / Freundinnen, daher poste ich diese hier nicht 😉.

Geplant war dann, dass wir die letzten etwa 450 Höhenmeter bis ins Tal mit der Gondel fahren, leider waren wir 5 Minuten zu spät 🤣. Also liefen wir nochmal weitere 3,4 km hinunter und kamen somit an diesem Tag auf 16,9 km mit 750 Höhenmeter bergauf und 1450 Höhenmeter bergab.

Es waren zwei tolle Tage. 🙂 Ich war dort bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal. Die Doldenhornhütte und das gesamte Team war top, so dass ich dort sicher nochmal übernachten werde. Vielleicht bei einer Mehrtagestour: Kandersteg - Doldenhornhütte - Frundenhütte - Blüemlisalphütte und natürlich der Oeschinensee.

After my 2 past reports about my vacations in Sölden, Serfaus - Fiss - Ladis and at the Walensee, I would like to tell you today about a short trip in June this year.

Normally I travel rather at short notice, if the weather fits. No matter whether short vacation or for several weeks. But this short trip with 4 friends was planned months in advance, but we had it with the weather quite well caught, as you will see...

After just over 2.5 hours of travel, we started in Kandersteg. Our goal for the day was only the direct ascent to the Doldenhornhütte.

When we arrived at the top at 1915 m, the weather was still top and we first treated ourselves to a nice beer. I as always non-alcoholic - I drink no alcohol for over 10 years.

After we had moved into our sleeping quarters, we went out again and explored the surrounding area. On the one hand, we had a great view of Oeschinensee (Lake, Switzerland),...

...and a buddy and I still enjoyed a refreshing ice bath at about 0 degrees 😀.

In the evening we had a delicious meal and ended the day comfortably playing cards and board games.

It rained during the night and when we left early in the morning it was still a bit fresh and also foggy.

In the course of the tour, it was still cloudy, but very pleasant. Not too cold and especially not too hot - perfect hiking temperature.

Shortly before our last climb still a cool beer with great views of Oeschinensee. In between, the sun came through again and again. 😎

On the way back we had again and again a great view from above on the Oeschinensee. The weather was increasingly better and sun smiled at us.

I have many more pictures, but always with at least one of my friends, so I do not post them here 😉.

The plan was then that we go the last 450 meters or so up to the valley with the gondola, unfortunately we were 5 minutes too late 🤣. So we ran another 3.4 km down and thus came on this day to 16.9 km with 750 meters of altitude uphill and 1450 meters of altitude downhill.

It was two great days 🙂 I was there definitely not the last time. The Doldenhornhütte and the whole team was top, so I will certainly stay there again. Maybe on a multi-day tour: Kandersteg - Doldenhornhütte - Frundenhütte - Blüemlisalphütte and of course the Oeschinensee.
