My Daughter Went to see a Doctor

As a mother, it is but heartbreaking to see your child suffer from any illness.

Yesterday, my daughter had trouble breathing as if she's been running low on air. Since we are too far from the Hospital and we don't have any car, I just monitored her sleep while doing my work in advance so I could spare a little time to go to the hospital with her.

When the morning came, the two of us hopped on a jeep and went to Baguio, then to La Trinidad where Benguet General Hospital is. What I am thankful about even my kid is sick is that she is still as energetic as when she is okay. She runs, climbs, and smiles like she's just fine.

I took this picture right after I declined a wafer from a fellow mom. Nova was asking for food but we can't accept it. It was a wafer and wafers can make her cough so bad. I declined politely to the mother who was so generous that she wants to give Nova food. Nova didn't like me doing that hence her reaction.

This photo is when someone sat inbetween us and she couldn't see me. A Parent saw me hiding from her and that gave her the cue to go with the prank. She called Nova and I was shocked because Nova went to her even if she doesn't know her well. I should teach her not to go to any stranger. Lol. When she saw me, she came and cried as if she was relieved that I am there.

It took us almost 2 hours waiting in line but the wait is worth it. Dra. Pacio, one of the Pedia Doctors I admire the most is the one who's on duty. She still knows me because I have worked in that hospital before.

She told me that my daughter has pneumonia but can still be treated at home long as we have our own nebulizer. She gave us the list of the medicine to purchase and bid goodbye.

We didn't get to buy the medicine inside the hospital so I bought it in Baguio.

After this, we went home and started her medication already. I also went back to work in that afternoon.

Good thing we have our own Nebulizer, if not, she may have been confined

I just hope and pray that my daughter heals quickly as it breaks our heart looking at her having a hard time breathing.

So that's it for today. Please help me pray for my daughter.
