Korean Rice Beer for Beersaturday Deu/Eng

Hello dear community,
today is my last Korean beer tasting for #Beersaturday. Three beer tastings in 2 weeks were then also enough, I had finally a tight program in Korea and had to be fit.

In the supermarket, a green can of Korean beer smiled at me, so I couldn't help but pick up a Hanmac. A Korean lager beer. With 4.8% alcohol at first glance a normal beer. But what I noticed only later was that this beer is a rice beer. So brewed from Korean rice. Ok, has with the German purity law no longer much in common but the can was bought and it has already interested me as that tastes so. And what can I say, it will certainly not my favorite beer but the taste came extremely close to a beer according to our imagination. I do not know if I would have tasted a difference if I had not read the rice. So as a test a complete success.

Of course, a good beer also includes a short one. So I bought a bottle of Soju, translated as brandy, a Korean liquor with 20% alcohol content and how could it be otherwise, made from rice. Soju pure I had also drunk before, tasted me but not so good, because no great flavor of its own. But this bottle with blood orange flavor was wonderful. Super fruity taste, I could have drunk another bottle right away.

heute gibt es meine letzte koreanische Bierverkostung zum #Beersaturday. Drei Bierverkostungen in 2 Wochen waren dann auch genug, ich hatte ja auch schließlich ein straffes Programm in Korea und musste fit sein.

Im Supermarkt lachte mich eine grüne Dose koreanischen Bieres an, so dass ich nicht umhin kam mir ein Hanmac mitzunehmen. Ein koreanisches Lager Bier. Mit 4,8% Alkohol auf den ersten Blick ein normales Bier. Was mir aber erst später aufgefallen ist, war dass es sich bei diesem Bier um ein Reisbier handelt. Also gebraut aus koreanischem Reis. Ok, hat mit dem deutschen Reinheitsgebot nicht mehr viel gemein aber die Dose war gekauft und interessiert hat es mich schon wie das dann so schmeckt. Und was soll ich sagen, es wird sicher nicht mein Lieblingsbier aber der Geschmack kam schon einem Bier nach unserer Vorstellung extrem nahe. Ich weiß nicht ob ich einen Unterschied geschmeckt hätte, wenn ich das mit dem Reis nicht gelesen hätte. Also als test ein voller Erfolg.

Natürlich gehört zu einem guten Bier auch ein Kurzer. Also habe ich mir noch eine Flasche Soju, übersetzt Branntwein, mit dazu gekauft, ein koreanischer Schnaps mit 20% Alkoholgehalt und wie sollte es anders sein, aus Reis gemacht. Soju pur hatte ich auch schon mal getrunken, schmeckte mir aber nicht so gut, da kein großer Eigengeschmack. Aber diese Flasche mit Blutorangengeschmack war herrlich. Superfruchtiger Geschmack, hätte ich gleich noch eine Flasche trinken können.
