I'm just so Happy that Cross-Platform exists!

Hello everyone!

As you guys already know, I'm a die hard gamer myself. I usually try to sway my wife into gaming too, but unfortunately she's not as adamant about it as I am: there are a lot of misses, and some hit here and there.

For example, one game that I bought for us to play together and that she LOVES is Minecraft and GTA V. We can easily spend several hours on the Xbox trying to build a hut for ourselves while trying to fight off monsters in Minecraft, or messing around in GTA for the lulz of it.

But there were lots of things that we've tried out and didn't worked out well. One of the most recommended games for 2 players is Overcooked, in which players have to help each other managing a kitchen. It's a very fun but stressful game, and after an hour or so playing, we decided to quit it for good or we would end up with a divorce 😅

Recently, some girls from her group of friends started playing Destiny 2 on Xbox, and convinced my wife to play it too. Considering that she's not a fan of FPS games, I was sure that she would end up hating the game.

But, hey! She loved it!

And the better part is that Destiny 2 has Cross-Play, so I'm also able to jump on the fun wagon by playing on the PC while she's on the Xbox.

To be REALLY honest with ya folks, I'm not a huge fan of FPS myself. I surely would prefer to play a different genre like Strategy or Sims. But, hey, it's quite fun to spend a few hours with my wife shooting stuff and all that jazz.
