Happy Women’s International Day?

Aloha 🫣, Yeah I know I’ve been away for some time.

My mum always says that today is the day of the “worker woman”, and I can relate, well therefore, this is the reason why I decided to pass by today.
I had been so busy trying to be a superwoman being a self employed artist and traveller, sounds fun, but as a perfectionist, it’s quite challenging to manage.

Today I could finally draw, and it was a drawing to let go.
Let go on everything that means today. On the media, there have been lots of opinions and a lot of pain shared.

Some women were sharing how offended they are to be congratulated today, since it’s a day that reminds us that women still don’t have the same rights as man, and they are not protected from abuse (in many aspects)…

Not forgetting the abuse that many women are suffering in war at the same moment I’m writing this post.

Well, I’m sorry for sharing a sad post, but today has been quite bittersweet.

Then I decided to gift some color to this day.

I am sharing the final result of a painting that I decided to sell for a symbolic price and the money will be sent to support women in need of help.

¡Dibujas hermoso!
El día de ayer fue bastante extraño, nunca había visto mujeres que formarán una guerra por ser felicitadas. Las redes como Twitter estaban revolucionadas respecto a ello. Me pareció muy triste, porque la idea no es llevar un mensaje negativo y violento, el mundo no necesita más de lo mismo.
También pude ver bonitos mensajes, y acciones muy lindas, que sinceramente me alegraron el corazón. Eso es lo que realmente somos, mujeres llenas de amor para dar.

La lucha no es contra un "feliz día", sino para que nuestros derechos sean respetados, y ya no sigan pasando crímenes atroces ni injusticias.
