Ferramentas utilizadas

Nessa Pêra feita de polígonos eu utilizei a ferramenta "caneta", as ferramentas de seleção e o "conta gotas" para selecionar as cores. Utilizei as camadas para poder visualizar o exemplo e no final deletei a base.

Ficha técnica do trabalho

Programas utilizados:

Adobe Photoshop 2024 - Capa do post

Adobo Ilustrator 2024 - Criação da PoliArt

Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 - Edição do vídeo

Velocidade do vídeo: 5x a velocidade normal

A Pêra

Hi guys, today I'm bringing you a video of my first PoliArt. PoliArt is art made from polygons, usually triangles or polygons with four or at most five sides. I didn't think I'd like it so much, but I did.

The video was sped up by 5x because it took me over an hour and a half to finish this piece.

So let's get down to business...

Concept

The idea is to have a figure made up only of polygons. Although it looks very easy, to make it look good it's important to pay attention to shadows and lighting, and that's the hardest part. As well as being extremely laborious.

The smaller the polygons, the more detail your artwork will have. At the moment I'm using a base photo to copy the colors, but the idea is to be able to do other artwork without even needing a base.

I'll try to practice well and show my progress here.

Tools used

In this Pear made of polygons, I used the "pen" tool, the selection tools and the "dropper" to select the colors. I used layers to visualize the example and at the end I deleted the base.

Technical sheet of the work

**Programs used **

Adobe Photoshop 2024 - Post cover

Adobo Illustrator 2024 - PoliArt creation

Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 - Video editing

Video speed: 5x normal speed

Music: Compiled with the best of Antonio Vivaldi

The Pear

I didn't print out the step-by-step, but here's what the polyart looks like in the end.

Let me know in the comments what you think...

Would you like me to make polyart for your channel or project?

Would you like to have your own personalized mascot in polyart style? Get in touch with me.

I plan to bring some more here to train you more... I think the next one will be from the game Holozing since it's something I've been following a lot and has beautiful creatures.

Conclusion

This was another one of my workouts that I decided to record. I enjoyed doing this Pear more than I thought I would, so you'll probably see more polyart here.

I hope you enjoyed the post and if you can leave your upvote. If you'd like to see more of this kind of content, follow me and let me know in the comments what you'd like to see here.

It turned out well for you, you should practice more about shadows, which is always what is the most work.

I suggest adjusting the music in your video to 20%, since it sounds very loud.

What you do is very interesting, I really liked the technique you use. It would be good if you put the reference with more opacity for the sketch and that way you will be able to make the strokes better.

Great work, I liked it. From now on, I follow you to continue learning from your techniques.

I loved your tips, especially about opacity...

Shadows are something I've been trying to study and practice, but I believe that improvement comes with practice and time.

I'm uploading my second polyart at the moment, I think the music is better, but I'll pay attention to that in the next ones too...

Thank you very much for your comments and feedback!

It is a pleasure to collaborate with colleagues, because in the end by sharing our creative processes we learn from each other, and this improves our work.

Regarding polyart, I liked it and I'm going to try incorporating it into an experimental pixel art work later, I think it can give a good result.

I share with you a website that I use to guide me with reference to the shadows of any object or face that I am drawing, it is very useful because it allows you to focus the light in the direction you want, I hope it will help you friend.
