Olá pessoal! Já começo avisando que esse artigo será dos grandes! Vou falar sobre o espaço cripto e sobre o que eu acredito para o futuro desse mercado e o que ele nos trouxe até agora, abordando as áreas, financeiras, tecnológicas, cientifica e ideológica.

É impossível entender o presente e futuro de qualquer coisa sem entender o passado. Então vamos dar uma olhada em como começou o movimento que começou a ideologia por trás de toda a ideologia cripto e que culminou no lançamento do whitepaper do Bitcoin. Era um movimento artístico e literário, retratado em obras como Neuromancer de William Gibson, influenciou profundamente a visão do futuro e as ideias relacionadas à privacidade e à liberdade na era digital. Um dos filmes mais icônicos e que marcou minha adolescência com uma temática cyberpunk foi Bladerunner um clássico dos cinemas que abordava e representava questões questionadas pela ideologia cyberpunk.

Uma das ideias centrais do movimento cyberpunk era a descentralização do poder, especialmente no que dizia respeito ao governo e às grandes corporações. A internet, que estava em seus estágios iniciais, foi vista como uma ferramenta que poderia desafiar e derrubar as estruturas tradicionais de poder. Foi nesse cenário que surgiram as bases conceituais para as criptomoedas.

No movimento cyberpunk, as ideias de descentralização e distribuição de renda tem uma grande importância e estão ligadas à crítica às estruturas de poder centralizadas e à desigualdade socioeconômica. Essas ideias refletem uma visão diatópica do futuro, onde o avanço tecnológico não necessariamente leva a uma sociedade mais justa.

O espaço entre 2009, data do lançamento do Bitcoin e 2019, inicio da pandemia eu vou chamar de primeira era cripto por 2 motivos, primeiro porque foi a primeira decada das criptomoedas e segundo porque foi onde a pandemia da COVID-19 mudou o mundo e consequentemente mudou muito espaço cripto.

Após o Bitcoin ser lançado por Satoshi Nakamoto, apresentando o conceito de uma moeda digital descentralizada baseada na tecnologia blockchain ele quase não tinha adeptos além de alguns entusiastas que gostavam da ideologia Cyberpunk.

O primeiro grande marco para o Bitcoin foi a primeira transação com Bitcoin em 2010, quando um programador comprou duas pizzas por 10.000 BTC, que apenas a nível de curiosidade na data da publicação desse artigo vale em torno de 1257480098.61BRL ou 257683599.62USD. Com a explosão do mercado e o Bitcoin impulsionando as altcoins e gamecoins pra cima muitos investidores do mercado tradicional voltaram seus olhos para as criptomoedas pela possibilidade de ganhos exorbitantes. O espaço cripto começou a ganhar espaço fora do mundo virtual. Empresas cripto sendo fundadas e outras patrocinando times de futebol e outros esportes. Tudo estava indo bem. Mas as vacinas chegaram o mundo voltou a normal, medidas regulatorias começaram a surgir e como qualquer um que observasse bem poderia perceber. As coisas começaram a voltar a ser "como antes" e o mercado começou a esfriar tendo reajustes tão extraordinários quanto as altas. E assim o mercado entrou em mais um bear Market.

Espaço Cripto Hoje e o que esperar

Atualmente o mercado Cripto passa por mais um golpe forte vindo da regulamentação do SEC. As regulamentações são necessárias e elas já estão acontecendo. Porem é necessário uma analise melhor e menos tendenciosa, regular para tentar parar as criptomoedas apenas vai incentivar a ideologia que já é cada dia mais forte de que precisamos de um mercado descentralizado. Usar a tecnologia blockchain e regulamentar para uma maior transparência econômica me parece um excelente caminho, ao invés de tentar frear um movimento que já está em curso. O sistema vigente obviamente ainda é muito forte e cada golpe dado dói, mas o espaço cripto historicamente sempre tem voltado mais forte a cada golpe e porque seria diferente agora? Além disso o ideal para muitos que ainda se identificam com a ideologia cyberpunk é que as cripto existam como uma moeda paralela a fiduciária e uma opção descentralizada e que o bitcoin sirva ao seu proposito original do whitepaper que é a troca peer to peer. Então porque a suspensão do saque de criptos em dólar seria um golpe a longo prazo se a cada ano o dólar perde força frente ao mercado mundial?

É claro que ainda é cedo pra realmente as criptos se tornarem uma opção 100% viável para uma economia forte paralela mas esse é o caminho que muitos gostariam e buscam. Enquanto outros querem apenas uma regulamentação mais razoável. De qualquer forma a descentralização tem se mostrado um excelente caminho e crescido cada vez mais!

A proposta do Agroforest DAO é uma adaptação florestal, em que a comunidade se expande globalmente e a produção é intergeracional. O projeto iniciou a coleção a pouco tempo e a primeira colheita acontece na próxima semana dia 17 e todos os donos de NFT podem acompanhar a colheita!

Skate Cuida

O Instituto Skate Cuida é uma iniciativa incrível que tem como objetivo principal gerar oportunidades e promover ações no universo do skate. Desde que foi inaugurado em maio de 2020, o Instituto tem se destacado pela abordagem colaborativa e integrada nas áreas de Saúde, Educação e Ciência, o que é realmente inspirador.

Initially, Bitcoin was widely used by enthusiasts and individuals with an affinity for the cyberpunk movement, who shared the vision of an independent and uncontrolled centralized monetary system from the government. However, over the years, cryptocurrency adoption has expanded beyond that initial circle, reaching a wider user base. Since the emergence of Bitcoin, several other cryptocurrencies have emerged, each with its own characteristics and specific purposes. Some of them sought to improve scalability, transaction speed or privacy. The first network after BTC to emerge that revolutionized the crypto space was Ethereum, which introduced smart contracts allowing NFTs and a series of other constructs on top of the network, and Monero, which focused in the privacy and anonymity of transactions.

While cryptocurrencies have gained popularity and attracted investors over the years, they also face challenges and criticism to this day with the SEC the latest attack on the crypto space. Price volatility, lack of regulation in some jurisdictions and incidents of theft are variables that damage the image of the crypto space and is further compounded by the distortion of facts by the mainstream media.

Since the launch of Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies have evolved significantly and have the potential to transform the way we conduct financial transactions and interact with the monetary system. Currently, numerous projects seek to reduce social inequalities, provide more equal opportunities and in favor of the decentralization of any and all types of power, whether social, political or economic.

First Crypto Era

The space between 2009, the launch date of Bitcoin and 2019, the beginning of the pandemic I will call the first crypto era for 2 reasons, first because it was the first decade of cryptocurrencies and second because it was where the COVID-19 pandemic changed the world and consequently changed a lot crypto space.

After Bitcoin was launched by Satoshi Nakamoto, presenting the concept of a decentralized digital currency based on blockchain technology he had almost no supporters in addition to some enthusiasts who liked the Cyberpunk ideology.

The first big milestone for Bitcoin was the first transaction with Bitcoin in 2010, when a programmer bought two pizzas for 10,000 BTC, which just out of curiosity at the time of publication of this article is worth around 1257480098.61BRL or 257683599.62USD. That day was marked in the history of cryptocurrencies and even today, on May 22, BTC pizza day is celebrated.

After the first completed transaction, Bitcoin gained more media attention and attracted investors and speculators. Bitcoin price reached an all-time high in December 2013, surpassing $1,000. However, in 2014, a significant price collapse occurred and the cryptocurrency went through a period of volatility and market adjustments.

In 2010, the first crypto exchange, BitcoinMarcket, appeared and in 2012, Coinbase appeared. After that around 2014 companies and developers started to focus on building infrastructure around Bitcoin and blockchain technology. Cryptocurrency exchanges such as Shapeshift and Bitstamp emerged, facilitating the buying and selling of Bitcoin. Additionally, companies have begun to explore applications for blockchain technology in sectors such as financial services, supply chain and governance.

The year 2017 was marked by an explosive rise in the price of Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies. Public interest peaked and many people entered the cryptocurrency market, propelling the value of coins to historic highs. This period was characterized by strong speculation and a significant increase in the number of ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings), where new cryptocurrency projects raised funds. Obviously, with the exponential increase in people entering, there was also an exponential increase in people trying to take advantage and applying scams to those who had no knowledge, which since then began to denigrate the image of cryptocurrencies, which was aggravated by the mainstream media by exposing only news. negative and hardly expose the great positive things that the crypto space was conquering.

After the cryptocurrency boom of 2017, the market went through a period of price correction and adjustment. Many cryptocurrencies have lost much of their value. Furthermore, governments and regulatory authorities around the world have started to take steps to establish guidelines and regulations regarding cryptocurrencies and ICOs. This was a milestone and a testament to the attempt by centralized governments to try to keep their power concentrated without giving up space and doing everything possible to impede and denigrate the crypto space.

Crypto Space and the Pandemic

In 2020, the year of the beginning of the pandemic, there was a greater consolidation of the cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin, in particular, has gained prominence as a digital store of value and an alternative investment. Large financial institutions and companies have started to show interest and invest in cryptocurrencies, contributing to their growing adoption.

One of the main reasons for this adoption was the uncertainties that a global pandemic brought and the impediment of many companies to operate in person during this period. The need to adopt homework and greater evidence of numerous technologies made part of the world turn their eyes to cryptos and their solutions.

Furthermore, blockchain technology continued to be explored in various sectors, with the development of decentralized solutions, smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps).

One of the highlights of the positive effect the pandemic has had on the crypto market, in addition to the extraordinary rises in currencies, has been the play2earn games boom initiated by Axie Infinity. During the end of the year 2020 and half of the year 2021, countless players managed to get 10000USD per month, which for players from many countries was the salary of 1 whole year or more. Several other games surfed this wave and quickly the fees for entries in games that had a reasonably healthy economy became prohibitive for many and a series of projects that could not even get off the ground, either because of serious failures in the production since it was a market totally new and no one knew for sure how to do it, and even today not much is known, that is why the project was a scam just to take money from potential investors / players.

With the explosion of the market and Bitcoin propelling altcoins and gamecoins upwards, many investors in the traditional market turned their eyes to cryptocurrencies due to the possibility of exorbitant gains. The crypto space has started to gain ground outside the virtual world. Crypto companies being founded and others sponsoring football teams and other sports. Everything was going well. But the vaccines arrived, the world returned to normal, regulatory measures began to emerge and as anyone who looked closely could see. Things started to go back to "the way they were" and the market started to cool down with readjustments as extraordinary as the highs. And so the market entered another bear market.

Crypto Space Today and What to Expect

Currently, the Crypto market is experiencing yet another strong blow from SEC regulation. Regulations are needed and they are already happening. However, a better and less biased analysis is needed, regularly trying to stop cryptocurrencies will only encourage the ideology that is already stronger every day that we need a decentralized market. Using blockchain and regulatory technology for greater economic transparency seems to me to be an excellent path, rather than trying to stop a movement that is already underway. The current system is obviously still very strong and every blow thrown hurts, but the crypto space has historically always come back stronger with every blow and why would it be any different now? Furthermore, the ideal for many who still identify with the cyberpunk ideology is for crypto to exist as a parallel currency to fiat and a decentralized option and for bitcoin to serve its original purpose in the whitepaper which is peer to peer exchange. So why would suspending the withdrawal of cryptos in dollars be a coup? And in the long run if the dollar loses strength every year against the world market?

Of course, it is still early for cryptos to really become a 100% viable option for a strong parallel economy, but this is the path that many would like and seek. While others just want more reasonable regulation. In any case, decentralization has proven to be an excellent path and has grown more and more!

The crypto community generally expects a promising future for the space based on a few points.

More people and institutions are expected to adopt cryptocurrencies as a way of paying and investing. This is driven by increased awareness and understanding of cryptocurrencies, as well as improved infrastructure and custody solutions. And this is already happening and the trend is increasing more and more. With favorable regulations it would certainly be mass adoption.

The ever-faster technological development allows us to expect continuous advances in blockchain and cryptocurrency technology, allowing for greater scalability, security and efficiency. This can facilitate mass adoption and the creation of innovative decentralized applications. Positively modifying not only the traditional economic scenario, which is increasingly chaotic, but also the social scenario, bringing improvements to people's daily lives and more sustainability in current practices.

I also expect cryptocurrencies to be integrated more and more into traditional industries such as financial services, e-commerce, international remittances and supply chains. This can bring benefits such as faster and cheaper transactions, greater financial inclusion and greater transparency. Currently, there are already several banks that have included cryptocurrencies in their investment portfolios and you can already buy and sell crypto in some digital banks, even in Brazil.

It is also expected that there will be clear and balanced regulation regarding cryptocurrencies. Appropriate regulations can provide a safer environment for investors and promote confidence in the industry. And help by making government finances more auditable and transparent through blockchains.

There are expectations of greater integration of cryptocurrencies with global financial systems, such as interoperability with existing payment systems and the integration of stablecoins to provide stability for users.

In addition, constant technological evolutions do not stop, the crypto community is constantly looking for innovations and new applications of cryptocurrencies, such as smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and other disruptive solutions that can transform sectors and create new ones. opportunities.

There is still a long way to go before the crypto space becomes mainstream, but even in a downturn there are many reasons to be positive about the future of this space of decentralization and the pursuit of greater social justice.

Social purpose, sustainability and collective construction

There are numerous projects that fight for a social purpose, be it education, sustainability or another purpose. Here I will highlight some of the projects I've seen within this crypto space that have a purpose! Most of them will be Brazilian as I live in Brazil and that's where I have the most access.

Agroforest DAO

Agroforest DAO is a community of individuals who believe that it is possible to manage production areas with a hybrid model between the local and the global. Using blockchain technology, Agroforest DAO is building gamified models of engagement in governance, education, training, reputation building and retirement.

Agroforest DAO's proposal is a forest adaptation, in which the community expands globally and production is intergenerational. Currently, they operate in Brazil with 1 farm and a collection of NFTs called Friend Beans, which entitles them to 1/40 of the bean plantation they have on the farm, among other benefits. The project started the collection a short time ago and the first harvest takes place next week on the 17th and all NFT owners can follow the harvest!

The purpose of the project is sustainable food and avoiding shortages, improving the quality of life of DAO participants.

Skate Care

Instituto Skate Cuida is an incredible initiative whose main objective is to generate opportunities and promote actions in the world of skateboarding. Since it opened in May 2020, the Institute has stood out for its collaborative and integrated approach in the areas of Health, Education and Science, which is truly inspiring.

One of the things that impresses me the most is Instituto Skate Cuida's commitment to helping those who need it most. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they made a significant difference by donating virtual food baskets to 725 families in social vulnerability. It is a gesture of solidarity that makes all the difference and shows how the Institute is truly committed to the community.

In addition, Instituto Skate Cuida has built valuable partnerships with several renowned institutions, such as Banco do Brasil, Instituto Ademáfia, Instituto Nova Era, NGO Social Skate, NeuroForma, CemporcentoSKATE, Ministério do Esporte and Banco BTG. These collaborations demonstrate recognition of the exemplary work carried out by the Institute and further strengthen its ability to make a positive impact on people's lives.

One of the Institute's notable initiatives is the Skate Aula Program, encouraged by the Ministry of Sports. This program is especially focused on serving children and adolescents on Ilha da Gigoia, in Rio de Janeiro. What I find admirable is that the Institute is not limited to offering skateboarding lessons, but also has a team of tutors and psychologists who are dedicated to providing a complete and enriching experience for young people. They develop weekly activities that go beyond skateboarding, including cognitive stimulation and theoretical classes. Additionally, providing free pre-school meals is a welcoming gesture that shows how the Institute cares about the well-being of students.

It's really inspiring to see how Instituto Skate Cuida is making a difference in people's lives, especially on Ilha da Gigoia. Your commitment to providing opportunities, emotional support and education is something that touches my heart. It is a true example of how skateboarding can be a powerful tool to transform lives and promote personal growth. And every day educating more about web3 and its benefits.
