Martyr + Resurrect = powerful combination! Splinterlands Social Media Challenge [ENG-PT]

Introduction

Martyr is one of the most recent abilities introduced to the game, and is most present on Soulbound cards, which cannot be traded or delegated to other players.

This means that only active players in the game can enjoy it, which is very good for those who like to play but don't have large amount of money to invest.

The holders of that ability, when killed, add +1 point of each attribute on the adjacent monsters, being able to make a simple card that seems useless become lethal and can bring the victory to your team.

There is also another skill, this one introduced since the early days of Splinterlands and which can make a really powerful combination with Martyr. I'm talking about Resurrect.

The name says for itself, the monster that have it brings back to life the first card to be destroyed, which can cause the Martyr to be activated multiple times.

That combination is extremely efficient in the Noxious Fumes and Earthquake rulesets, as it doesn't require you to place the monsters in bad positions, such as the front line.

One of the best cards to use this combination

You just need to have a good tanker and that preferably it's immune to the rules mentioned above, that the chances of victory are great.

To this be possible, it needs to have the ability of Immunity or a monster with Cleanse to remove negative effects, and the ability of Flying, respectively.

The best monster for this is Kralus, a legendary that holds both abilities, making it immune to both battle rulesets.

And as if that wasn't enough, from level 2 it can still regenerate part of its life with Heal.

This makes it a card with recurring demand and which also has a low supply, making its price high to rent, which is fully understandable by what has been said about it previously.

There are only 1097 copies in regular foil in circulation and 82 in gold foil. The price to buy it changes constantly, as there are a tiny number of players who are interested in selling it.

Practical Example

Now, let's see it in action with everything that has been talked about during this post.

I used two cards with Resurrect and put a monster with Martyr right behind it. My idea was exactly to make it decide the battle literally by itself, not only holding the attacks, but also eliminating the opposing team.

In addition to the Earthquake ruleset that was present in the battle, there was also What Doesn't kill You, which provides the Enrage ability to all monsters on the field. This causes them all to have their attack(if it is Meele) and speed increased, when attacked.

There was also no way to use Range monsters, so the battle would be between Meeles and Magics.

After two resurrections in a row on the Vruz and the Martyr being activated 3 times, combined with Enrage, the Kralus reached an incredible 4 magic attack and 8 meele attack.

Adelade Brightwing also received the stats increase, reaching 5 magic attack, becoming two very hard monsters to beat.

Considerations

The Martyr ability becomes extremely effective when the monster that has it is placed next to a monster that have a lot of attributes, such two different types of attacks and also armor in addition to the very life it have.

And when used together with Resurrect, it becomes even more effective, being able to create literally unbeatable monsters on the field.

It is possible to remove this additional attribute provided by such a ability through Dispel, however the number of cards that have it are limited, especially in lower leagues, in addition to many players not paying attention to this, making you able to enjoy this combination with a certain tranquility.

O Martyr é uma das habilidades mais recentes introduzidas ao jogo, e está presente em sua grande maioria nas cartas Soulbound, que não podem ser negociadas e muito menos delegadas a outros players.

Isso faz com que apenas quem está ativo no jogo possa desfrutar dela, o que é muito bom para quem gosta de jogar, mas não possui grandes quantias em dinheiro para investir.

Os detentores de tal habilidade, ao serem mortos adicionam +1 ponto de cada atributo sobre os monstros adjacentes, podendo fazer com que uma simples carta que pareça inofensiva se torne letal e consiga trazer a vitória para o seu time.
Há também outra habilidade, esta já introduzida desde os primórdios de Splinterlands e que pode fazer um combinação extremamente poderosa com o Martyr. Estou falando do Resurrect.

Como o próprio nome já diz, o monstro que a possui traz de volta a vida a primeira carta a ser destruída, podendo fazer com que o Martyr seja ativado inúmeras vezes.

Tal combinação é extremamente eficiente nas regras de batalha Noxious Fumes e Earthquake, pois não necessita que você coloque os monstros em posições ruins, tais como a linha de frente.

Uma das melhores cartas para essa combinação

Basta que você tenha um bom tanker e que de preferência ele seja imune as regras citadas anteriormente, que as chances de vitória são grandes.

Para que isso seja possível, ele precisa ter a habilidade de Immunity ou um monstro com Cleanse para remover os efeitos negativos, e a habilidade de Flying, respectivamente.

O melhor monstro para essa função é o Kralus, um lendário que detêm de ambas habilidades, o tornando imune as duas regras de batalha.

E como se já não bastasse, a partir do nível 2 ele ainda pode regenerar parte da vida perdida com o Heal.

Isso o torna uma carta com demanda recorrente e que também possui uma baixa oferta, tornando seu preço elevado para alugar, o que é totalmente justificável pelo que foi apresentado sobre ele anteriormente.

São apenas 1097 cópias em folha normal em circulação e 82 em folha dourada. O preço para comprá-lo vive oscilando constantemente, já que há uma quantidade minúscula de players que tem interesse em vendê-lo.

Exemplo Prático

Agora, vamos vê-lo em ação junto com tudo o que foi falado durante este post.

Eu utilizei duas cartas com Ressurect e coloquei um monstro com Martyr logo atrás dele. Minha ideia era exatamente fazer com que ele fosse decidir a batalha literalmente sozinho, não apenas segurando os ataques, mas também eliminando o time adversário.

Além da regra de Earthquake que estava presente na batalha, havia também a What Doesn't kill You, que fornece a habilidade de Enrage a todos os monstros em campo. Isso faz com que todos tenham seu ataque(se for Meele) e velocidade aumentados, quando atacados.

Também não havia como usar monstros tipo Range, então a batalha seria entre Meeles e Mágicos.

Após duas ressureições seguidas sobre o Vruz e o Martyr ter sido ativado 3 vezes, combinado ao Enrage, o Kralus atingiu incríveis 4 de ataque mágico e 8 de ataque meele.

A Adelade Brightwing também recebeu o aumento de atributos, chegando a 5 de ataque mágico, se tornando dois monstros muito difíceis de serem batidos.

Considerações

A habilidade Martyr se torna extremamente eficiente quando o monstro que a possui está posicionado ao lado de um monstro que possui uma grande variedade de atributos, sendo dois tipos diferentes de ataques e também armadura além da própria vida que ele possui.

E quando utilizado junto com Ressurect, se torna mais efetivo ainda, podendo criar monstros literalmente imbátiveis em campo.

É possível remover esse adicional de atributos fornecido por tal habilidade atráves do Dispel, no entanto a quantidade de cartas que a possui são limitadas, principalmente em ligas mais baixas, além de muitos players não darem a devida atenção a isso, fazendo com que você consiga usufruir dessa combinação com uma certa tranquilidade.
