Introduction
Hello everyone!
In the Battle Mage Secrets of this week, we have the Holy Protection ruleset. It means all monsters receive the Divine Shield ability, which makes them immune to the first attack received by enemies.
There are monsters and summoners that have this ability, but both don't stack, so there is no possibility for you to dodge two attacks.
How to deal with this ruleset
Divine Shield prevents the first attack from doing any damage, however any ruleset have a weak point. In this case, negative effects can be applied anyway, so you can take advantage of this and abuse them, using cards with Stun, Poison, Cripple, Shatter, etc.
When this rule come up, the ideal is put the max number of monsters allowed in the battle, because each one will be able to hold 2 attacks at least(with poison exception), no matter how low its life is.
Another interesting point is reborn monsters receive the ability again, so you can put a monster with considerable life and can be healed or even have self healing, and have the possibility for it to regenerate and hold attacks for a long time again.
Example
In the battle I will show, both my opponent and I abused the use of negative effects.
In addition to the weekly challenge ruleset, there are two others:
Aimless: all Range and Magic monsters receive Scattershot ability. This means all attacks will be randomly.
Super Sneak: all Meele monsters, with the frontline one exception, will attack the last backline monster on the field.
That made me thought about the summoner Dallan might be a good choice for the battle, so right now I just to think about the monsters.
For the front line I chose Cursed Windeku, which has a high amount of health for a low mana cost, being one of the best tanker options for Splinter Death in my opinion.
In addition, his Thorns ability reflects all meele attacks received by him.
For the back line I put 4 monsters with negative effects, 3 of them with Poison and one of them with Stun.
Venari Wavesmith, Revealer, Haunted Spider and Doctor Blight.
So, in addition to reducing the life of the monsters of my opponent already in the first attack, there would be a chance for them to receive the negative effects and be taken down quickly.
Right in the first round all attacks were really well distributed among all monsters on the field, in addition to Poison and Stun being triggered once each on the opposing team.
The opponent's tanker falls after the second round, and there was nothing left to hold my attacks on his side...
I believe the position of his Riftwing was what determined my victory in this battle. He was probably waiting for the use of multiple Meele monsters to attack the last position of the backline, something that didn't happened.

Considerations
The Holy Protection ruleset is very good for exploiting the most diverse negative effects available in the game, since the strongest attack won't always win. Because of that, it's very important to fill all the spaces available in the game, which can increase the chances of victory against this rule.

Olá a todos!
No Battle Mage Secrets dessa semana, temos a regra de batalha Holy Protection. Ela faz com que todos os monstros recebam a habilidade de Divine Shield, que os tornam imunes ao primeiro ataque recebido pelos inimigos.
Existem monstros e invocadores que possuem tal habilidade, porém ambas não se acumulam, então não há a possibilidade de você se esquivar de dois ataques.
Como jogar com esta regra de batalha
O Divine Shield impede que o primeiro ataque cause algum dano, no entanto há uma vulnerabilidade nessa habilidade. Efeitos negativos poderão ser aplicados de qualquer forma, então você pode se aproveitar disso e abusar deles, usando cartas com Stun, Poison, Cripple, Shatter, etc.
O ideal quando essa regra surgir, é que você coloque o máximo de monstros permitidos em uma batalha, pois desse jeito você conseguirá segurar pelo menos 2 ataques com cada(com exceção de ser atingido por poison), por mais que a sua vida seja baixa.
Outro ponto interessante é que monstros renascidos recebem a habilidade novamente, então você pode colocar um monstro com vida considerável e que consiga ser curado ou até mesmo possua auto cura, e ter a possibilidade dele se regenerar e segurar ataques por um bom tempo novamente.
Exemplo
Na batalha que irei mostrar, tanto eu como meu oponente abusamos do uso de efeitos negativos.
Além da regra do desafio semanal, ainda era necessário lidar com outras duas:
Aimless: todos os monstros tipo Range e Mágico recebem a habilidade de Scattershot. Ela faz com que todos os ataques não tenham um alvo direto, sendo completamente aleatórios.
Super Sneak: todos os monstros tipo Meele, com excessão o da linha de frente, atacam o monstro da última posição da backline.
Isso me fez pensar que o invocador Dallan pudesse ser uma boa escolha para a batalha, então me restaria selecionar bons monstros para formar o meu time.
Para a linha de frente escolhi o Cursed Windeku, que possui uma grande quantidade de vida para um custo de mana relativamente baixo, sendo uma das melhores opções para tanker do Splinter Death.
Além disso, sua habilidade de Thorns reflete todos os ataques de meele recebidos por ele.
Para a linha de trás eu coloquei 4 monstros com efeitos negativos, sendo 3 deles Poison e um deles Stun.
Venari Wavesmith, Revealer, Haunted Spider e Doctor Blight.
Assim, além de reduzir a vida dos monstros do meu oponente já no primeiro ataque, ainda haveria a chance de receberem os efeitos negativos e serem mortos rapidamente.
Logo na primeira rodada todos os ataques foram extremamente bem distribuídos entre todos os monstros em campo, além do Poison e do Stun serem acionados uma vez cada sobre o time adversário.
O tanker do oponente cai após a segunda rodada, e não havia mais nada para segurar meus ataques sobre ele...
Acredito que o posicionamento do seu Riftwing foi o que determinou a minha vitória diante dessa batalha, uma vez que ele provavelmente estava esperando o uso de múltiplos monstros tipo Meele para atacar a última posição da backline, o que acabou não acontecendo.

Considerações
A regra de batalha Holy Protection é muito boa para explorar os mais diversos efeitos negativos disponíveis no jogo, já que nem sempre o ataque mais forte irá vencer. Por isso, é muito importante preencher todos os espaços disponíveis para colocar os seus monstros, o que poderá aumentar as chances de vitória contra essa regra.
