Isn't it a little late for the current epoch? I read @anomadsoul's post on it, and if I understood right, we are at the point where only closing signals is possible. I'll be interested to join the next one. A question: for the Metamask connection, on which chain are the transactions? Ethereum? BSC?

It uses a custom net, you have to chance to SanR mainnet (it will prompt you to do so when you are opening a signal).
