Why running when nobody is chasing you

Some people will be running without knowing what is chasing them. I remembered two weeks ago, when you I came back from shop and I noticed that I didn't bring my baby's food from shop and he might be hungry any moment and he will crying unnecessarily.

His dad is not at home so I decided to wait for him because I don't want to take him along. When I waited for like ten minutes and did not see his dad I decided to go and left him at home. In order to leave him at home without him crying, I have to give him my phone and rush to the shop.

So when I'm coming back from the shop I have to run for two reasons, first I don't know maybe my baby is crying because he was all alone in the house and the second reason was due to my phone because I don't know what he is doing to my phone. I am scared for him not to break my phone so I increase my pace because I was actually jogging before.

As I was running, I noticed that the two men I met on my way turn back and started running too, I don't understand why they are running and that get me scared at first but I left them behind and when I reach our house gate, I stopped and asked them why they are running and they said that they thought something is happening from where I'm coming from and that's the reason why they started running too.

I can't stop myself from laughing because the reason why I'm running is quite different from what they thought so it kind of funny that I don't remember that I have open the gate and our dog "Bush" is running towards me. Immediately they saw the dog , they started running again. Before I say Bush stop, it started chasing them and when I don't know what to do again I closed the door and went inside to check my baby, the main reason why I was running in the first place.
