Some grandma with their pronunciation

Hello everyone, I welcome uou to my blog once again and I hope you are all doing great today.

The way some old people in my country will call names or call things will makes you to laugh your guts out, if you like yourself don't bother to tell them your English name or they will turn it into something else for you.

There was this old grandma beside my house whatever she called that is not correct, you should just leave her with it because if you correct her you are looking for a trouble. I once corrected and end up receiving a smack on my head. There was this woman in my neighborhood and this my neighbor ( Mummy Marvelous) was selling provisions.

There was a day this old grandma wanted to buy something from her but she wasn't at home so she sat in front of our house probably waiting for her. The woman actually went to the market to buy her goods so grandma was waiting for her.

I came out some minutes later and met grandma sitting there, I asked her if there was any problem and she said no, she was waiting for iya tetanus, I was like hmmm!! it took me sometimes before I realized that it was actually mummy Marvelous that she was referring to. And she said she was resting so that she can have strength to go to iya pensusi (mummy prescious) shop. I can't laugh because she will be offended and I try to hold it in. I collected the money from her and help her buy what she wants to buy from mummy prescious shop.

When I came back and gave her what I went to buy, she thank me and was about to leave when she said " aahh!! before I forget, one man came her and asked for mitiser saamu ( mister Samson) but I told him he is not around in case when you see him help me to tell him.

Okay that is the height of it, I couldn't hold myself any longer so I bust out laughing. The woman looked at me like what is wrong with this girl and I was desperately thinking of what to say to cover it up and at that moment, I lady was passing wearing a tight gown and heels, I don't know what she was looking at but then she tripped and fell down so I used that one to cover my laughter.

When I told my friend that happened to be that woman's granddaughter she said I don't understand grandma at all, she was about to suffocate her with her pronunciation but she wouldn't take any corrections. Imagine her calling network as netivioky, I'm dying of her English already, did anyone knows where we can train her before she kill us with her English.

Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day

Lol its not usually their fault, they're already used to a certain way to pronouncing things based on how they hear it so you can't change them anymore.
Afii iya tetanus😂😂
