My Daughter First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for my daughter. She is now in vocational school. She takes visual communication design. She is 15 years old. After finish from the vocational school, she will have a skill in graphic and video design.

I encourage her to take the program because she has talent in drawing. With the digital tech, her hobby in drawing can be implemented in visual design like graphical arts or videos.

The program will last three years. I let her to get a job after finish the school or go to university. It depends on the situation and opportunity.

There are around 40 students in her class. She looked enthusiastic following activities of her first day of school. The activities started at 7.00 in the morning and finished at 1.00 in the afternoon.

The school is around 15 minutes riding on my motorcycle. I have only one motorcycle so that I take and pick my daughter everyday. Some students ride motorcycle and others use public transportation. Using public transportation is too far for my daughter. My daughter should walk about 500 metres from the main street. Besides that, the public transportation is always slow. I am afraid that my daughter will be late to school. It is why I must take her to school and pick her up in the afternoon.

The school is popular in my area. It is not state school so that is not free. The administration or requirement to enter a state school was very complicated so that I decided to enroll my daughter to a private school. The tuition fee is not expensive but I think the school has good facilities. All classrooms are air-conditioned. There are also good laboratory with personal computers.

I hope my daughter will enjoy her study and can have a great achievement. In junior school, she has a great achievement so that I believe that she can do better in her new school.
