Happy Tuesday!

I have to admit D&B isn't something I normally listen to but this is pretty cool and I checked out some more stuff from your SoundCloud - pretty eclectic and interesting stuff!

General question - is SoundCloud your main channel then? And does that work well for you?
People seem to use it in very different ways - some for mixes, some for demos or alternate versions. Currently I have 2 recent main tracks on mine plus one alternate mix.

Thanks so much for the comment! I would say that as of now SoundCloud is my primary channel in the sense that I intend to post everything there FIRST (#SCfirst). Using the SoundCloud Artist services, I then try and choose appropriate tracks for full releases on ALL streaming platforms.

TLDR; SoundCloud has every track I produce FIRST

Furthermore, I do like it relative to other platforms for the pure sake of ease of royalty collection. Emanate is great, and I had a lot of hope for Audius, but SoundCloud to me seems to have the best indie foothold in terms of getting smaller artists paid for their streams!

Ah ok that's really interesting. So many different approaches to releasing music - great that SoundCloud is working for you!

I'm releasing my main tracks on streaming platforms too but I don't love the streaming sites so I'm up for experimenting with releasing either first in other places or with alternate mixes on other platforms including SoundCloud and as NFTs on Hive too. There is also Audius which I haven't even tried yet.

Admittedly, I've seen the fastest growth in terms of listens and following on Audius... there just isn't a viable royalty stream there yet. SoundCloud again is my favourite because it's free to release, and then for $2.50 a month I can release those tracks to all Streaming Sites as much as I want (to a degree I have yet to hit).

Hey that's interesting - I think I'd better at least make a start on Audius! I've released via a couple of different labels to streaming sites - including now the awesome Stick Up Music - @stickupofficial1 - the label of @stickupboys.

Have a great day!

I think I liked the original one a bit more than the re-mix. I also like how I did not need to go anywhere, that they all played in sequence, I also preferred the instrumental original.

I like how the soundcloud embed works,

Thanks a lot for the response! I think the original is much more authentic to the composition as it was built all together.. My vision for the remixes was to take a song that sounded like it fit in a western cowboy scene, and to launch it into space!
