Circle will withdraw USDC from TRON Network

USDC is a popular stablecoin after USDT and its managed by a company called Circle. Tron network is accused of market manipulation and illicit operations and probably because of this reason Circle as a company is trying to play safe. They have announced that from now onwards there will be no USDC minted on the tron network howeveer this will be done in a phased manner and it will continue to work until Feb 2025.

Binance launchpool has been bringing many projects recently and its like one after another. Now the latest project is listed and its called Portal. Its a web3 gaming project and the farming period will be for 7 days. The farming has already started and it can be done by BNB and FDUSD coins. The portal game supports all blockchains, making it possible for gamers to keep and manage their assets on different blockchain networks. There are 2 pools in farming including BNB and FDUSD in the 80:20 ratio.

Countries are trying to develop multiple things at present. They are focused on building modern infrastructure, technological solutions, better water availability and above all better governance models. Blockchain is a highly advanced technolgy that can make things better if this is adopted. It brings transparency and can manage data on a scale. Overall they are trying to find the ways to find innovative ways that can contribute to improving people’s way of living. Crypto can also be one of the sources for countries to generate some tax revenue and also generate employment for their citizens.

The Russia and Ukraine war has been ongoing for a long time and during this, Russia has received multiple sanctions from the EU. Now there is another round of sanctions and is going to be the 13th round of sanctions. This sanction is expected to happen later this week but as of now, there is not much clarity about it. Now there is another update that Chinese companies are also going to be on the list.

Stablecoins are getting more attention as these are pegged to fiat currency. Mostly these coins are backed by USD and the South African government is trying to empower their digital payments through this. While many countries are working to introduce CBDC however stablecoins can also be a good alternative. Its the need of time to adopt the digital economy as the world is moving towards this direction. The South African government is going to make the provision to accept stablecoins as crypto assets and adopt blockchain as a digital solutions technology.
