Season Finale - 5 Minutes Freewrite.
This is my entry to the 5 minutes Freewriting Prompt for the day - Season Finale.
For cinephiles, especially those who enjoy watching a wholesome TV show, we all agree that it's often misleading to rate a TV show when you've not watched the season finale. That last episode is always where the show is made or broken. That's often what determines if the show was a hit or miss.
Make no mistake though. The pilot episode of a TVshow has to be very captivating. It needs to be captivating enough to draw people to the TVshow. However, the season finale also has to be a perfect closure for the story... The sort that will make the viewers feel good about watching the show.
It's possible that there would be some plot gaps in the story. Writers do that on purpose so they would be able to make additional seasons. Some do it at the expense of giving an unsatisfactory closure to the show. And, that's where it becomes a big problem.
As far as I'm concerned, I want the season finale of any show I'm watching to be as intriguing as the pilot episode.

Season finale don't give the main thoughts in some TV shows, that's true and the reason, I think is because of the fact that, they want to want the movie too long and it would make it go out of hands on the season finale.
Yeah. It's always about the money. The writers and producers always want to make more money by making more seasons of a show especially when the first season got a lot of viewership. In their attempt to make more, they end up failing to thicken the plot.
