Reacher; This absolute unit is no joke.

I've been on a wild adventure into the Cinematic Universe and I enjoy sharing a review of those Movies or TV shows whenever I'm free to do so. Today feels like a good day to do just that and I will be shining light on a TV show which has been on my watchlist for a while.

It's almost as if the YouTube algorithm on my page knew that I was trying to make up my mind about watching the TV show and decided to flood my YouTube shorts suggestions with clips of the TV show. I was still hesitant until I read a review of the TvShow which was published a month ago on Hive. That was when I decided that I was done waiting. Haha.

Tvshow: Reacher

Genre: Action, Crime.

Network: Prime Video

Seasons: 2 (8 episodes each)

This TV show is based on a serial fiction novel which I obviously didn't know about until I started checking out the TV show. The first season which was released in 2022 and the second season which was released in 2023 were each from different books in the serial fiction novel written by Lee Child.

The TV show itself features Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher, an ex-US Military Policeman who's built like an absolute tank. I'm not sure of what the Reacher character is described as in the novel. However, Alan Ritchson who plays the character is a very huge dude who could easily pass for one of those giants from the Vikings era.

He looks really intimidating because of his physique and his punches are just as impactful as you would expect. He gives the Korean one-punch man, Ma Dong-Seok, vibe and he is unexpectedly fast for someone that's the size of 3 men. The dude is also a very smart dude when investigating cases. He just does it in unconventional and dramatically appealing ways. And, he's one heck of a funny dude.

Two seasons of the show are already out and I've seen updates that show that the production crew are already working on a third season. While we wait for that, feel free to check out the above trailer. That's the trailer for the second season of the show.

Reacher basically tells the story of Jack Reacher as he lives as a civilian while bursting into the scene to solve crime-related problems whenever he gets entangled in one. It's funny though because he's a very big dude who refuses to be intimated by anyone or anything. And, trouble always seems to find him wherever he goes even when he just doesn't want to get involved.

He doesn't have a house. Doesn't live on rent. Doesn't own a car or a wardrobe or anything. Not even a phone. All he owns is his wallet and his toothbrush with which he travels, and lives off the monthly pension he receives for his fabulous performance during his military Police days.

I choke on my laughter whenever I see him try to pull a hitchhike. Haha. Seriously? Who in his sane mind would stop his car to pick up someone as huge as Reacher? Lol. I'm not even kidding. He looks just like someone who will rob you of your car if you let him in. That's his physical appearance though. The dude is a very nice dude and a fun on-screen character.

I will be looking forward to the third season of Reacher.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

I've read all the Jack Reacher books and many more of Lee Child's books, watched the movies and not sure I'd I've see all the Series, so will check it out. i've been on a break from Netflix but have been devouring books for the last few months, but back home soon with proper internet so I'll probably catch up on a few new season of some great shows.

Wow... I didn't read any of the books but got to find out about the books in one of the interviews held with Alan Ritchson, the dude that played Reacher in the TvShow. Hehe.

I'm already looking forward to the third season of the show
