Hello, it's another three-tunes day!

For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organised by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.

In this edition of #ttt, I would be freestyling three random tunes from my playlist. These tunes are part of the songs I was singing along to last night after having a very busy day.

Some days are like that, you know? Those days when you just want to listen to music shuffles on your playlist. That was how I felt last night and I listened to loads of interesting songs. 3 out of those songs are as follows;

1. We Are Here by Alicia Keys

I always say that I'm not a big fan of music videos, and that's the truth. But this one by Alicia Keys is one of a kind. It is a pure work of art and it's important to laud her effort for executing this perfectly. Brace yourself for the music video. She managed to keep viewers glued to the screen even though she was the only face displayed from start to finish.

Aside from the music video, the message in the song is also adorable. The song is a call for all of us to work together towards building a better tomorrow in our part of the world. It was also nice to hear 'Nigeria' getting a shout-out in the song. Hehe.

2. A New Day Has Come - Celine Dion

"Hush, now..." It's a new day!

Wow... Memories. I don't ever think I had an enviable childhood. I just find it hard to think of many incidents that made my childhood adorable, but whenever I listen to these old songs which I first heard as a kid, it usually has ways to overwhelm me with positive emotions.

Celine Dion has always been a musical icon. Play any song by her and you will see that it's still evergreen. This one is not any different. For a song that was released in 2002, I'm sure I rate it very highly in my playlist. Hehe.

3. Girl On Fire by Alicia Keys

'Alicia Keys' is no longer news even in today's edition of my #threetunestuesday. For a song that was released in 2012, the message makes so much sense at this point in 2023. The world is truly on fire. No kidding.

Since we are already in this world of ours, Alicia Keys is sending a message to us all. The message is for us to 'never back down'. I think we all need to have that message on repeat.

That's a wrap. Today was another rough day so I will be listening to a bunch of other songs shuffling through my playlist. Have a blast y'all ✌️.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop Or Comma

Alicia Keys has one helluva voice, doesn't she? She could sing about anything and that voice will keep glued.

We are here always moves me, a song that I was introduced to via Three Tune Tuesday and one that really really resonates. She is super talented, but that is her high point as an artist for me.
