It's always fun having visitors. How far away is Kampot from where you live?

I am not the sure kilometer count, it's probably not that far for western standards, but most people here would break the trip into two days even if driving by car. It's probably 9 to 12 hours, definitely possible to do in a day, but the roads are bad here and the drivers even worse.
Kampot is basically the most southeastern part of Cambodia on the coast and we are the most northwestern part of Cambodia on the coast, minus the one kilometer strip of Thailand that stops us from having ocean access. You can actually smell the salty air at the border gate, such a bummer.
