It was around this time in 2017 that i invested a huge amount of money in a business that turned out to be scam. Thousands of people also lost because as at then, that was the business that was reigning. If you didn't put your money in MMM, then you should be given an award for not following the band wagon train. No one bothered to even know or find out how the system was getting their money back. All everyone focused on was just to put money and in two weeks you get 100% of whatever you had put it.

As a business person, it is not only okay to hear people testify about a particular investment platform. You need to do your own research as well. Ask a lot of questions as much as you can.

You need to be 100% certain that the business has sustained and will continue to do so over time. Any business that do not have a long term strategy is as good as dead and that's not where you should put your one naira into.

Why a lot of persons still fall for scammers is because they refuse to do their homework. Instead they relied on the word of mouth of other people. If I know that if you put your money in a system and I will get commission from it, do you think that I will tell you not to join? Hell NO!

As an investor, you need to understand the policy guiding the company. The terms and conditions are very important for you to understand. And you cannot know if you don't go back to do your own research. Never ever put your money in a business that you have not done any homework for

You have to also learn how to be very observant. Paying attention to every detail will help you detect whether the company is genuine or there are some shady things going on. Except you love loosing money or maybe you didn't work hard to get it then you can go ahead and put your money in a business that you know nothing about.

Sometimes we ignore our minds when we hear that still voice that says,"HALT". One of the very first lessons I learnt after making that investment mistake was to always listen to our hearts. I got the message very clear but I ignored because after all, everyone around me was doing it and getting their money back. My first attempt was successful actually. It was the second attempt that swallowed my money and to think that this time, I invested a huge amount of money too. I learnt the hard way and never again will I repeat such mistake. I learnt the hard way.

There are so many investment platforms everywhere. Before you invest in any platform, be sure that you have done your research very well.
