The bearish market: How are you coping?

Every crypto investor will agree that this bear season is not fair to us all. I had expected to see a rise at least in this last quarter of the year but then, it is so unfortunate that we are still stuck here. This inflation is spreading across a lot of countries more so because of the Ukraine and Russia war. I am wondering how people cope with the bear market and then the economic meltdown affecting so many countries. It is like a nightmare I must say.

The hike in prices these days is such that you go to the market with somewhat seems to be a large amount of money and after buying, you begin to wonder if you misplaced money somewhere or you forgot to collect your balance at a particular place you bought an item. Yes, that's how bad things are at the moment. I can't help but wonder how low income earners are really coping this period.

I think the bear market is worse. These days people invest more in cryptocurrency. Imagine having so many investments and yet you cannot even get yourself some basic amenities because at this point, you are earning so little. For people who have budgets like me, it is quite difficult to carry out those plans if you don't have a backup financial plan. This is just to tell you that the market is not sure at all. Just like they say, "Invest what you can afford to loose". This statement makes more sense now that the market is not favourable.

In fact, this is the worse time for me because it is not just the bearish market that I am saddened with, but also the inflation that has tripled so badly. Naira seems to be dropping every minute everyday and it is one unfortunate situation. If at this point, you are earning in a currency that has lower value, this may just be a time to look at something else and something legitimate to do in order to earn in a currency that is higher than you own country's currency. Because at this rate, that's the surest way to survive it all.

The big question is, How long will the bear season last? Can you cope till it booms again?

There is always light at the end of the tunnel. We just hope and pray for the bull market to get to us as quickly as possible
