Let's take a journey as a brand new online entrepreneur!
You are fired up to start your adventure! You start learning everything you can about building a brand online and the same advice keeps popping up.
"Focus on building your social media following!"
O.K., sounds good!
The next question you may have is....
"Great, which social media platform should I concentrate on first?"
The answer to that usually goes something like this....
"Well, start on Twitter! Spend years to develop that following! Engage with your followers, create awesome content and show up everyday.....But then you are going to need to focus as well on Instagram!"
You seem concerned but you are ready to tackle the challenge!

I mean, I can go on and on and on....The amount of amazing apps on Hive seems to grow each and every month, but the point is...You don't need to start fresh, each time you want to start using an app here.
And yeah, I get it...We don't have the reach or numbers that traditional social media does, but see, I've always thought that was our 'secret weapon'. Especially as content creators and online entrepreneurs....
How?
It's a LOT easier to build a following and persona brand, right here on the blockchain!
Think about trying to build your subscriber base on YouTube, it takes years and you MAY get monetized after 10,000 hours and thousands of followers...Maybe!
Meanwhile, you show up on Hive, make a few comments and start gaining followers right away. Post a video on speak and BAM, not only have you plugged into a vibrant and active community...You are monetized on day one! Every if it's pennies, you are still...Growing!
This is so powerful for online entrepreneurs because it almost kills ya' before you get started. The uphill climb and the years it takes to get any kind of traction in traditional social media is daunting. And there's no guarantees at all!

You focus on the communities you are passionate about. Add value. Your account grows and you can use any of the apps here....

No need to build new followings every time you want to create on a new platform. I can't explain how amazing this is for online entrepreneurs. And on top of that, the more value and amazing stuff you create here, it's so much easier to get noticed.

Since a few days ago I haven't had time to sit at the PC, my cell phone I don't use it for Hive because of its ram that makes it a little slow, so I've been very active on Facebook, Instagram, I really haven't felt the same connection that I feel in any of the apps we have in Hive, it's like the Hivers community we are connected to each other, we have synergy, your post has made me go back to sit at night to surf Hive.
So true. Something is missing in my day, when I'm not here engaging and creating!

The one account with access to every other DApps on Hive is a uniqueness we overlook. I am not keen on multiple social sites to build my presence that's why am the laziest person to want to try another platform. Hive has it all for me.

Lucky to Have all in One. That's the beauty of Hive everytime when new Dapp comes here I don't need to think of making account start from zero... It just work with keys and still have to try many Dapps in future.

It is a big problem in itself.
You have to post on multiple social media places and wait for years to take off with subscribers. I am doing YouTube for 8 years and only reached 22k and imagine even that does not assure the views to videos. I still get those 10 views and 20 views.
I however started using the hootsuite for posting on social media. I schedule content and free my time by posting in advanced. I found Hive useful in this context is that you actually get your drip content being searched by Google. And also the additional blockchain rewards are bonus.
Regardless of this hustle, adding value is the only thing that keeps account on social media alive.
I think task mentioned something the other day in a post about how if you just put forth effort and focus you earn. Most user here are pretty generous and wanna help other out. Pretty awsome to see this.
I like the 1 account access and it makes life a lot easier. Compared to the monetization options in other platforms, Hive is way better as there is no barrier to getting paid. It's kind of crazy how everything goes in the financial world and not many people there succeed. The downsides is a smaller user base and you only get paid during the 7 day period of when the post gets created.

That's one if the things that differentiate Hive from all other social media platforms. Multiple accounts and content re-purposing is no easy task. With Hive and its account management system, everything is a breeze. Put monetization from day one into it and it's just a no brainer. Creators on Web 2.0 platforms are clearly missing out.
And also they cannot close your account from one day to the next and keep your money.
I'm putting in much effort here then traditional social platforms, because of the chance of growing and connecting is better and even the few cents count. On FB, IG, etc. you don't get paid, unless you're already famous and have a following.
Hive definitely has a ton of potential. It's one of those severely undervalued tokens and no one can wrap their heads around why that is. That will all change one day soon I think. There is just too much going on here to avoid it. I look forward to the day when my Hive ID can be my gateway to just about anything.
We have so many things on hive that we forget to appreciate at their true value. The account system is one of them. It's so great to do everything with the same login.
So cool that a decentralized technology allows us to centralize our own efforts. Irony? Serendipity? Whatever it is, it is convenient and effective. !PIZZA

One more thing I find for other platforms, they are a bit niche specific and require some verticality to grow.
On hive you can join several communities If you want and still showcase all your multiple niches to some extent. For example, I am a doctor, musician and a writer. I have several places where I can use all of that. Only one would thrive well on tiktok on Instagram..
