My journey on Hive has been an adventure for sure. Some downs but generally, it's been so rewarding.
Last year, I had to powerdown because of 'life' and I hated it. However, the best thing about Hive is that you can always rebuild. Anytime you feel like you have to take a step back, this blockchain will be here for you as long as you put in the effort. I have tried to not miss a step in my 5 plus years on chain. And while the powerdown sucked, it helps my family and allowed me to navigate some rough waters.
That's why we work so hard after all!
To help and provide for our families. At least that's what I do here. I think I can provide a future for my family and add value to Hive each and every day. I always try to put in more than I take out, and that will never stop.

In this week's journey, I hit some amazing goals that I had planned for myself this year...And then sadly, I have to take a 'step back' again as life is showing up lol
But it's nothing I can't fix with hard work, dedication and a desire to build something remarkable with Hive.
Let's dive in and see what's going on in the life of Jongo...
150,000 Hive Power
Well well....Take a look at that week :)
150,000 - 90,023.701 = 59,976.30 left to go
I hit a pretty cool milestone last week, 90,000 Hive Power!
Sure, I'm way down from where I was but the mission to 100k continues. And we're one step closer today.
So awesome!
45,000 LEO Power (Actually.....)
A few things....lol
First of all, let's look at the totals.
45,000 - 44,902.80 = 97.20 left to go
Yeah so we're under 100 LEO Power to go until we hit the target I originally planned this year.
But then #Threads came to be and I learned about the different levels and ranks that the LEO community has.
Right now, I'm at 'LION' status, but everyone over 50k staked LEO has the rank of 'Leader of the Pack'.
So.....
New goal for the year, 50,000 LEO Power!!!
Let's rock!!
60 = 1 HBD
And here's where things take a turn sadly.
The numbers look decent this past week, I added 102.602 HBD with almost 20 HBD as an interest payment. And I'm currently at 1351.782 HBD.
Unfortunately, life happened. And I'll need to remove the HBD from savings. Yup, that mean s this time next week, I'm back to ZERO in my HBD savings. And that sucks. I can't begin to describe how much it does. However I need to help my family out with some unexpected issues and thankfully, I do have the HBD.
Hey I started the year with pretty much 0 HBD, so I know I can build it back up. Just sucks because I was on a roll with seeing that compounding kick in. Little frustrated but the journey continues....

I'm so humbled when I see these numbers and I cannot say it enough....The Hive community, truly is, remarkable.
A number that really made me smile was seeing my curation APR do a big jump to 8.72%!

I feel that once LEO takes off you would be passively gaining in some of these goals. But for now hopefully we get to see the market upwards a bit more. Ethereum is down for now. And it needs to get back up otherwise people would be continue to be in state of seeing crypto in winter. Hope your weekend is going good so far.
Yeah, it's been rough. My journey offline hasnt been going to plan either, so in a rut, but I'll get out of it!
The decisions to constantly pull out HBD when the prospect of residual income is there can be fraustrating, but it's life, we take it to re-add it back again, so don't let it bother you. It's the long game, so I feel a few glitches here and there is inevitable. Keep building ser.

I see HBD savings for exactly what you are using it for. Nice to have around. You do not lose any ups or downs of the coin because it’s a stable. Perfect for things like this.

Nice progress on your goals and I think it sucks to take out some of your stake but I think it's good that it just HBD. The HP is still there and it continues to grow.
Hi I've been following you for about a year now and ask questions like once a few months but mainly watching. So I wanted to ask what is the best passive income token to hold? Is it INDEX, BRO, HBD?? What would you suggest I focus on more to start building up my portfolio. I started playing Rising Star 1.5 years ago and now i'm daily able to make about 15swap.hive from just farming so I wanted to put that into some passive income just needed more guidance, not necessarily financial advice so you don't get in trouble just guidance of what I should focus on most.
