good mid mana tank for Earth Splinter - my reason to use Venari Knifer in Splinterlands

As I told you before in my previous entries to this challenge, I am still in a bit of an experimental mode with this format. In my mind it comes more and more down to the following thought: Presenting in a very short summary why to use this unit (or not) while focussing on low Silver league. And in addition I want to provide you with an example for a battle.

So fast forward to this week's unit: Venari Knifer
What I think? -It is a really nice monster although somewhat limited in its usecase.

I really tried to find a fine example for a battle to use this monster in. -I had problems to find a battle. Why? Not because of the rulesets, but because of the enemies' setups. Most of the time the enemies did not choose a setup where the Venari Knifer would be really useful. (Actually that should count as a flaw of this unit, too!)

Actually and in fact I use the Knifer here not only as main tank, but also as damage dealer in a low mana ruleset. (Please ignore the Legendary units in this battle, all rented.) ;)

And simple and plain: It worked!

The enemy tried to shield some magic attack monsters.

The Knifer has enough health to take some hits and his 2 attack is not too bad and Thorn ability is always really cool!

So perhaps the card's best use-case is in some out-of-the-box cases!
