It's been weeks of fierced battle in Bakhmut and both the Russian and Ukrainian militaries are trying and making every efforts to win the war, although reports on both sides are showing their different efforts and strategies used in approaching in the battlefield.

About two days ago, the Ukrainian Interior Ministry said it's recruiting 40k storm brigade to help in the counter-offensive operations in Bakhmut to push the Russian military out of the city, but this has not yet been actualized due to the constant offensive attacks on the Ukrainian soldiers.

One of Russia's major grand strategy is to win and occupy Bakhmut by weakening Ukraine supply channel to the city. It's obvious that every besieged city needs food and other basics to survive the period of attacks and to me this will be a great setback to the further advancement of Ukraine holding unto this city if peace or external help isn't given by the West and Ukrainian allies.

The Uk's weekly report on the progress of the war in Ukraine has released a report on Russia's efforts to stop Ukrainian supply line to eastern city.

According to British intelligence on Friday, the Russian forces have very likely seized the centre of the fiercely contested city of Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine and are threatening a key supply route for Ukrainian forces to the west.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Wednesday his troops would pull back from the small city, which has been the main focus of Russia's assault on Ukraine for months, if they came under risk of encirclement.

Truth be told, the Ukrainian military aren't finding it easier in the eastern region, most especially in Bakhmut. This is because the Russian military is concentrating all her efforts in capturing the city. A Ukrainian officers said that the Ukrainian military aren't having strategic success in Bakhmut.

Ukraine has said it is fighting on there to wear down Russian forces before a counter-offensive bolstered by advanced Western-supplied weapons.

A regional transport and logistics hub now largely in ruins, Bakhmut would give Russia a stepping stone to advance on two bigger cities it has long coveted in Donetsk province: Kramatorsk and Sloviansk.

Bakhmut is so strategic a fortress to the Ukrainians if they don't want to loss this two major cities that the Russians have targeted for months. Winning in Bakhmut will mark a major victory in the advancement of Russia's course of the ongoing war and I believe that Russia will do anything to take the fortress city of Bakhmut.

The Kremlin says it will not consider peace in Ukraine unless Kyiv accepts the loss of the territories Russia has annexed. Ukraine says it posed no threat to Russia and there can be no negotiations until Russia withdraws all its forces.

Thanks and God bless you!
