On Track with my LEO & HIVE Goals

It's quite hard to believe May is almost half-way through. I somehow wish we could put a pause button or maybe a leash on time for it to slow down a bit, lol! It's just not going to happen and all we can do is try to make the most of what we've been given. We all have 24 hours a day and it's up to us how we are going to spend it.

LEO & HIVE Goals

Anyhow, like every Saturday, here comes my weekly update on how my stakes are going in relation to my the goals I've set to accomplish for the year - My LEO and HIVE targets to be specific. For those who had been reading me, you may have known that my desire is for my account to reach at least 15k LEO Power (main + alt combined) and 1500 Hive Power (for this alt). Those were also indicated on the Saturday Savers Club challenge which I decided to join in January this year. I also wrote about it on my Personal Roadmap for Growing Leo Power

My starting numbers then are shown in the table below:

Leo Power

From 7536 in January (Week 1), my Leo Power is now at 12,146 (6950+5196). That's over 60% increase in the last 4.5 months. That growth would not have been possible without determination and the support of others too. Thanks to LeoThreads for being the driving force for this one. I appreciate the fact that we have such a feature here on Hive where we can do microblogs, interact and monetize our short contents too.

There had been no LEO powered up in the previous week. That is largely because I am trying to accumulate for the upcoming Leo Power Up Day (LPUD) on the 15th. There's the Adoption Campaign too where you earn some points when powering up certain amount of LEO and that was one of the reasons why I halted staking LEO for the time being.

Today, I read about the challenge by LeoGrowth where if you power up 8k LEO on LPUD, you will get a special limited edition NFT. It's a real stretch and I would not be able to do it myself but I will still participate on the LPUD for sure!

I currently have 1,152 liquid LEO on my HE wallet which I had been buying from the market in the past few days and a little over 100 LEO on my main account which were mostly rewards from my HP delegation to leo.voter so will see how it is going to be on the 15th. It might be the biggest LEO power up yet for me.

Hive Power

From 624 HP in week 1 (January), my Hive Power now stands at 1273. Pretty chuffed to see that the amount has doubled from then and is now just about 227 HIVE away from the year-end goal. It could have been more but most of my rewards were used to buy LEO and its okay because it's what my main goal is anyway.

I'm still staking 1 HIVE daily and hope to not miss a day this month. Failed to do it in the previous months.

Suffice to say, I'm on track on both my primary and secondary goal. And if I'm going to rate myself with respect to this as Tito Ed (@tengolotodo) does it, I'd give me an 8/10. Whilst the numbers are increasing, they could have been better if I stayed consistent on my other activities (re: posting).

Meanwhile, I was able to secure 50 XV before the sale closed on the 10th. I That will stay on my HE wallet in the next two years and hopefully harvest the fruits of it in June 2025. Hope you got your share too.
