Hive is a True Haven (For Me)

The bear season has been long and harsh that it took down many which had not been so fortunate to weather it, including one that I have been enjoying for almost 2 years. Checking the app earlier today made me learn that it has finally waved the white flag. And who knows there will be more as the economic winter season seems to be stretching towards the end of the year.

That's how brutal tough times can be, not only in the cryptoverse but in other sectors too. Which brought me to thinking what would I be doing now in this crypto and economic downturn if I have not met Hive and did not decide to work it out.

In previous years when I was just trading some cryptocurrencies and hopping from one shiny object to another, I abandoned everything online and went offline during the crypto winter because I could not take it. It was too much of a challenge back then. Reminiscing those times, I cannot help but wonder how it would be this time if I was not already here on Hive.

I realized that Hive has actually been a true haven for me, in good and in bad times.

How so?

• It has made me set goals and keep working on them. Through Hive, I am developing my self-confidence in stacking up tokens too instead of panicking like before.
• It is making me spend my time more productively notwithstanding what is happening in the market.
• It has become my learning space for many different things from other people's cultures, to crypto investments and a plethora of things. It even makes me travel elsewhere even in the midst of pandemic.
• I am loving it here because I am discovering more of myself and I'm becoming better at expressing things too.
• It is keeping me connected to others globally, creating memories with them here on the blockchain.

And you know what?

Hive has given me my own digital identity as TM puts it on his recent article. I believe you would agree that it has given yours too and many others here.

And so I am staying put and keep loving Hive as it is, while I also do my best to contribute to its growth in my own little ways.
