In my last post I made a team with chaos knight and quix that was actually really smart and well thought out..........
.......but it didnt get curated.
So today I share a very different battle. It was a melee can attack from anywhere ruleset. Naturally, I use Sloan because he is the only leveled up life summoner I have. His buff does literally nothing for me in this game.
Next I put down my level 3 Uriel and lvl 7 Chaos Knights as beefy meatshields, and fill out some supports to boot.
Even though this strategy is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE (unlike my last post) I win because I have higher leveled monsters.
I hope this much simpler content is something that can appease the curation gods. I will still include my thoughts about the card below for those who may want a more intellectual read.
Let's talk about this card
I absolutely love this card and for 6 mana with shield it is amazing against most teams. Life is also favorite splinter so I choose it quite often, but I typically do not play this card.
Why?
Two major factors contribute to me seldom using this card.
- There are so many great tanks and off tanks in the life deck
- I am always weary of magic teams and Chaos Knight is weak against magic
For low mana matches: 5 mana I can put up a Binding Reflector and Pelacor Conjurer that are an amazing tank between the two of them, that is significantly better than Chaos Knight against magic
For high mana matches: I will probably just put up Uriel the Purifier because I can.
So that puts Chaos Knight in a little bit of a niche field that is best used used when you highly suspect that the opposing team will be using melee or ranged.
