Newbie Experience: I Tweet with Threads

As a newbie in Leofinance community; so far, I have been a beneficiary to all the initiatives in regards promoting the community, token and the blockchain.

One amazing part I want to talk is my #tweets in #threads. When I began my journey in #leo I wasn't aware of the #threads but the #lpud contest et al. But advancing in learning and reading more in the frontend, leofinance.io, I stumbled on the #threads platform. Seeing this platform as a microblogging one, I utilized and had more fun engaging there than in the web2 (twitter).

I met new friends and read other financial news related to other countries. News like the FED interest rate hike in the USA, the new crackdown on fraud and money laundering in the UK etc. All these and lots more made me current about the happenings around. Meeting friends here in the #leothreads was faster as compared to twitter for me. What made me enjoy this platform is because we all aim at achieving one goal - promoting the community and its blockchain.

Before now, I had shared it in my previous blog that I was shying away from joining this platform because what was posted here seemed like jargons to me, the terminologies used weren't coinciding with what I know. So I ignored it.

Even when I joined the #leothreads, I was so naive (not that I'm a pro now though). #gmfrens tag got me confused till my friend in #threads told me the gm literally means good morning lol. Moreso, I was enlightened that I could mine GM token by adding my WAX wallet address to my Hive profile. Such a family to be (smile). #threads are beyond just microblogging but a connection with other people. From being a community to family, that's what #Leo community has turned out to.

I know some Hivians are like me who are shying away, feeling the community isn't for them. The truth is: you don't need to have knowledge about #cryptocurrency before joining the platform; my growth in the knowledge of #crypto is appreciating, I must say. All this happens in the leofinance community and the microblog, #threads which is the subset.

To some contributors like @leogrowth who initiates different contest to keep the community moving forward and @uyobong who gives daily news on #crypto and other financial related news, I appreciate your efforts.
